Experience the full power of the dark side with the Darth Vader Force FX lightsaber replica, the latest addition to Hasbro's fan-favourite Black Series. Modelled after the crimson-bladed weapon wielded by the corrupted Anakin Skywalker during the era of the Galactic Empire, this officially licensed product features authentic details, including a black-ridged hilt and red crystal (which is removable).
Fans of the Star Wars universe can use the provided stand to display it amongst their collection. There is a detachable blade (complete with LEDs), so you can decide whether to display the Darth Vader lightsaber replica in its ignited or passive state. Conversely, this collectable can also mimic the sound effects of this ancient Sith weapon once you have pressed the button on the hilt, simulating the epic duels witnessed in George Lucas's critically acclaimed movie franchise.
Where Did Vader Get His Red Lightsaber?
Darth Vader's lightsaber made its first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), the movie in which he strikes down his old master, Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Alec Guinness). Throughout the course of the original trilogy, the Dark Lord (David Prowse / James Earl Jones) demonstrates his raw Force power and prowess with a lightsaber, which he wields using a style of combat known as Form V. This aggressive approach serves his objectives well, allowing him to win his first duel with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), whose hand is lost as a result of their altercation on Cloud City.
Fans who have watched the entirety of the prequel trilogy know that Darth Vader was once a Jedi Knight by the name of Anakin (Hayden Christensen) and that he fell to the dark side after being manipulated by Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid), who promised the secret to saving the life of his pregnant wife, Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman). However, few know where he got his red lightsaber, which replaced his original blue weapon. The answer can be found on the pages of the comic books, where it is revealed that he built a new hilt after bleeding the crystal of Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a, whom he had been tasked to kill.
- Lights and Sound Effects: The Darth Vader lightsaber replica uses modern LEDs and sound effects inspired by the movies to immerse you in the Star Wars universe. Press the button on the hilt to simulate ignition, duel effects, battle clash, and battle sequence.
- Authentic Details: Recreating the Sith Lord's weapon with painstaking attention to detail, this Force FX replica stands out amongst your collection and is instantly recognisable.
- Includes a Stand and Red Crystal: Your new Force FX lightsaber can be displayed on a collector's stand alongside a removable kyber crystal. Choose whether to present with or without the detachable blade. (Instructions provided.)

Excellent saber
If you are a fan of Darth Vader you won’t be disappointed. Excellent lightsaber with a bright blade and good effects. Worth mentioning the kyber Crystal it comes with is clear until you put it in the hilt. Photos show it’s red but I’ve not seen any way that it stays red outside the hilt. Other than that it’s great and well worth the money.

The Ultimate Vader Lightsaber
I had my eye on this saber since it 1st came out, and when Zavvi reduced the price I had to get it. The saber is insanely detailed, Comes with an amazing show stand and various different light triggers. One of the best being if you hold the saber down and press the button it glows orange/white at the top of the saber as if you're cutting through a door/wall/ground etc So awesome! A must have for any Star Wars/VADER-Anakin Fan
