Lego R2-D2 - Superb!
5A fantastic build from start to finish for any Lego/Star Wars fan. The detail in this model is incredible. Great price on Zavvi too, the best I’ve seen.

Great set, not too difficult to build either.
5I bought this as something a bit different to the usual sets I purchase, which are predominately from the vehicle ranges; however, I was not left disappointed with this set as I am also a fan of the star wars range, and this is a great set to add to the collection. My 8-year-old son built 95% of this set with no problems; I was more of a 'quality controller' to provide build checks after each page was complete. I like the smaller numbered bags built sequentially; each bag took only around 15-30 mins to make by my son, making it a good build experience if you are short on time but want to get it done. The only negatives are that it feels pretty loose and shaky once fully built, not that it feels like it will fall apart, don't expect it to feel rigid or have any resistance to moving parts, and the top antenna/camera thing that pops up could maybe be improved by having it on a retractable mechanism of some kind as it has to be lifted manually and doesn't stay in the raised position if you let go. Once built, it looks excellent on the lego shelf we have and I would recommend the build for any young aspiring builder looking to take the next step up the build difficulty ladder from basic builds and to star wars fans alike. Zavvi was brilliant once again, with an easy transaction and quick delivery.

The best R2D2 model
5I bought this as a gift for my brother. Looks great, he had fun building it. A great Star Wars theme present for anybody who is a Lego and Star Wars fan.
