Almost but not quite.
This Mad Catz: R.A.T. 9 Mouse - Gloss Black is a quality wireless gaming mouse with heaps of features and all the functions are adequate. However, the completely plastic outer shell does leave a little to be desired, it just doesn't have that "premium feel" you'd expect from this kind of mouse. That being said, it's a big improvement on my aging Razer Mamba which was having laser issues but that was due to it's age I believe. One small improvement they could make is for the metal chassis to be a bit longer under the palm, this would reduce the ability for the laser to be lifted away from the mat and improve accuracy for people with big, heavy hands such as myself. But this doesn't affect the over all functionality as long as the "heel rest" is not fully extended. I'd consider buying one of these again, but I think I'd save up and get the latest Mamba as the Razer build quality feel is far superior to the RAT 9, only time will tell if it's as robust as my four year old Mamba.
