I first played Heroquest as a kid in the late 80s and I fell in love with it. I rediscovered it with my family when we started playing my old copy during the pandemic. A whole new generation discovered the joys of dungeon crawling and it has become an on and off fixture in my household. When I learned that a new version had been released it was a no brainer to buy a copy. I'm pleased to say my faith in the game has been rewarded - this is the more or less the same game I loved as a kid, except this time around the models are more detailed and varied and the gameplay is a little tougher, which isn't a bad thing. I played it with my family over Christmas and we all had a blast!

I had the original WAY back in day and loved it. Sadly 30+ years aged it badly. Bits got broken bits got lost. I saw this edition a while back but was just too expensive then saw it on sale and just couldn't pass it up. Nostalgia overload! 🥰🥰

Briliant introductory game for kids ad beginners into the world of fantasy gaming. Great components and simple gaming and a nostalgic nod of admiration from middle-age gamer like me. Bit overpriced, but great fun for kids of every age. Highly recommended.

I bought this due to still owning the original game. I haven’t played the new one yet but it appears to be much the same but with modernised components. The miniatures and cards are of a high quality and are packaged in their own boxes inside the big box keeping them secure.

Very easy and hassle free. Great price, fast delivery, and diffeent payment option. Game from my childhood, that i had to get to play with my children. Even my 8 year old picked it up and keeps asking for the next quest. Game for all ages and very easy to play.

This is a fantastic update of one of the greatest board games ever made. Heroquest is a fun, easy to learn board game inspired by classic dungeon crawl/fantasy rpgs. It is recommended for people aged 12 and over but I think kids a couple of years younger could easily learn the rules and mechanics. The game components include a detailed game board, fantastic miniatures and detailed furniture. The rule book and quest book are also well written and easy to follow. All in all this is a good starting point for fantasy rpgs/dungeon crawls before progressing on to more in depth games like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder.

Loved playing this as a child, now 25 years later I play with my kids. Quality of product amazing. I hope all the expansions become available too, the mystic tour presale was amazing.
