Following the defeat of the Galactic Empire at the end of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, a galaxy far, far away was in need of a new galactic authority. To this end, the New Republic was formed.
Democracy quickly returned to the galaxy, upholding the principles of the Republic prior to the rise of the Empire. Using a small peacekeeping force, the various planets under the New Republic's jurisdiction were kept safe.
As seen in The Mandalorian Season 2, New Republic pilot Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) attempted to recruit former Rebel shock trooper Cara Dune (Gina Carano) into their ranks. Dune ultimately refused his offer, having left that part of her past behind. Nevertheless, Teva awarded her with a symbol of his gratitude: a Republic medallion.

Star wars Republic medallion badge prop
I absolutely love it .its with my collection and looks just like the real thing .zavvi as been great .quick delivery and great communication and .I've brought alot from zavvi and their customer service as always dealt with things great and I still continue to buy and pre order from them because I feel happy with their service and they always have a big variety of collectables and new stuff .

A decent replica at a decent price.
I've purchased a couple of these badges. One for myself and one as a gift. After receiving my one, I was very pleased with it, so decided to get another for a Christmas gift. The badge looks really good and comes in a nice presention box. It's a great item if you like Star Wars/Mandalorian... well worth it.
