My most anticipated figure ever
Ok, right away I have to say that Ripley in her white spacesuit is my most anticipated action figure ever. There is something so iconic about that final scene of Alien where she is putting on the spacesuit to face the alien for the last time. So here it is in seven inch form. And I don't think I can find a fault with it. The level of detail is uniformly impressive right down to the little iconography on her glove fingertips. The big fishbowl helmet is removable although I display her with the helmet on. The likeness of Sigourney Weaver is passible given the scale. The figure comes with Jones the cat and her grappling gun with two grapple attachments. (A cat box for Jones would have been nice but you can't have everything!) The figure reuses the same spacesuit parts as for Dallas and Kane. Articulation is very good, although as its neca I mention the usual caveats about being careful not to break it. So far so good with mine.
