The Breville Antony Worrall Thompson Large Pie Maker makes cooking delicious home-made pies really easy. A highly versatile dish, there are many different fillings to suit everyone including steak and ale, beef and ale, fish or chicken and mushroom. If you'd prefer a pie for dessert, you could have apple, cherry, blackberry or other fruit as a filling. The size of each pie means they can be served as a starter or served with side dishes for a complete meal.
Made up of two non-stick plates with four recesses in the lower plate, it's designed to cook perfectly shaped pies. A red and green light will illuminate once the Pie Maker has been switched on and when the optimum cooking temperature is reached the green light will turn off. Then it's time to add the pastry bases into each recess and use the pastry cutting tool to make each one a perfect fit, fill them with the filling of your choice, add the pie top and lock the lid into place. After around 8 to 10 minutes your pies will be golden brown and ready to serve.
The non-stick plates are easy to wipe clean and the lid is hinged, which gives you more access to help with cleaning. Folding flat for compact storage, the unit is slim enough to be stored either horizontally or vertically.
