Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is the improved and enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 3, developed by Team Ninja, and features all of the downloadable content from the original Ninja Gaiden 3. Razor’s Edge has been created and released exclusively for the Wii U, Nintendo’s innovative new console.
As with the original Ninja Gaiden 3, players will take control of the protagonist Ryu Hayabusa, the solitary Ninja who is searching for a way to lift the deadly curse from his right arm before it kills him. Whilst the story stays the same, many new features have been introduced to Razor’s Edge, allowing for a great deal more variety in gameplay and combat, amongst other things. The impressively sickening gore that was missing from the previous Ninja Gaiden 3 has been re-introduced in all its glory, where players can dismember their enemies limbs, leaving them legless and crawling along the ground in some cases. Combat has also been updated to make full use of the ingenious Wii U Game Pad, where you can use the touch screen to equip weapons, view Ryu’s combos, execute Ninpo, as well as see in-game information, and more.
The DLC that comes with Razor’s Edge definitely comes in handy with combat, as it includes six new weapons to choose from, as well as three new Ninpo adds up to make for a greater variety when it comes to fighting. As well as this, the game also offers more intense battles, due to the new range of enemy types and battle areas; enemies are also harder to defeat than before, and have a tendency to gang up on you in an attempt to overwhelm you and end your life. However, with the amount of weaponry and Ninpo available to you, achieving victory and decimating any enemy that stands in the way of your goal should be no problem whatsoever. The variety of gameplay and combat on offer gives you extra layers of strategy to explore, as well as vast amounts of replayability.
Another new feature in Razor’s Edge is the brand spanking new character and weapon development and progression system, where the karma points you earn after achieving victory in battle can be used to upgrade Ryu’s weapons, Ninpo, and increase his HP level. With the vast amount of improvements to made to the game, the Wii U functionalities help make Razor’s Edge the advanced and super enhanced Ninja Gaiden 3 that it is. The HD graphics and Game Pad touch screen add up to fast-paced, intense, and incredibly fluid gameplay and combat that is sure to please all Ninja Gaiden fans worldwide. (Cat Emerson)

AMAZING VERSION OF NINJA GAIDEN 3
Everything is better now:. - Limbs can be cut up - Looks 10% better - Runs 100% smoother and constantly flows - Karma collecting is now available - Upgrades are also available - Ayane as a playable character (2 missions)

Little disappointed
Finally a Ninja Gaiden game on a Nintendo home console! A little disappointed for the mad difficult level and for the poor battle system though.
