Amazing game
5Pre-ordered this game and received it a day before the release date. Very engaging story and being a fan of the previous Arkham games the gaming experiences was very enjoyable. Graphics are amazing and there are plenty of side missions to keep you busy for a while!

Amazing!
5Amazing game that, unlike others, was not buggy or faulty on day 1 release. Zavvi's pre-order service was superb, getting the game earlier than release and the swift delivery made it a service I have recommended to others and will purchase all pre-orders. The game is superb mixing elements from the first two games, despite having some annoying batmobile elements.

The Dark Knight Returns
5Well, the Arkham Knight to be exact, but this is a fantastic game and compliments the previous 2 in the series. I won't give any of the plot away, but a few old faces return and the storyline is well thought out. The controls are more or less the same as before and the addition of the batmobile to get around quicker and for additional combat is great. Certainly one for your collection.

The Batmobile video game featuring Batman
4***Minor Spoilers*** After an albeit brief but exciting introduction you are thrust into the open world of Gotham. If you've played any of the previous games a sense of familiarity strikes immediately which in some ways is both a good and a bad thing. The controls are fairly simple to jump straight into though some of the more complex controls feel a little awkward at times. Visually Arkham Knight is a beautiful game, though initially the streets of Gotham felt a little empty, it's not until you've made a little progress in the story that the world starts to feel more alive, but even then it feels a little hollow compared to other open world games like GTA, or the more recent Witcher 3. My overall progress is just over 50% and for the most part I've enjoyed it, but many of the side missions feel a little too rinse and repeat, for instance chasing after Firefly for the third time. And there is the feeling I've been there and done much of it before. The story thus far has been mostly entertaining, though it's more Batmans battle with his inner demons that steal the show rather than the battle with the villain the game is named after, the Arkham Knight. The biggest new addition is the Batmobile, which is forced upon you at every given opportunity. In some areas it's neat how you use it to solve certain puzzles, and escape some otherwise grave scenarios. Driving around the streets of Gotham is a breeze, and then holding L2 switches to a nimble tank mode, problem is after the umpteenth tank battle you've had enough, and when I don't have to drive somewhere I find myself purposefully avoiding using the Batmobile to break the monotony. It's a shame because it's actually a really good addition, and has been implemented well, it's just a pity they felt the need to ram it down your throat every five minutes. Overall though Arkham Knight is a good game, and in my opinion well worth playing. Even though it feels at times a little padded with copy and paste multi-part side quests, it offers a solid and for the most part entertaining experience.

Good Game
4This game hasn't yet managed to keep my full attention due to ESO, Payday, Southpark. But from what I have played it is really good. Looks lovely and it plays fluid . The driving it self is a bit of a pain this is mostly due to the control layout for it. You do get use to it ofc. All in all a good buy and I will plow through it all sometime soon. Plus for under 40£ new it was a great buy.
