The Wipeout games just get better and better. Wipeout 2048, great soundtrack and graphics. And now with touchscreen controls, lot's and lot's of fun. You can control your ship by touching the rear touch pad, tilt the Vita to turn and touch the front touchscreen to shoot missiles, guns and drop mines etc. You can also cross-play with friends with PS3. And if you buy the Wipeout HD Fury Expansion pack you get the PS3 3D version to play also. Just awesome, a must buy!!!

This is a must have for PS Vita owners - it has everything you expect from the Wipeout franchise i.e. super fast racing with weapons. The game makes good use of the touch-screen for the interface and the graphics are great. Another neat feature is that you can play Wipeout HD if you've got it on PS3. Probably the best racing game on Vita so far - definitely recommend!

Wipeout 2048 is probably one of the best PS Vita launch titles. It follows up on the usual style of the other Wipeout games, but the graphics and the online mode makes it even better.

To be honest, it's on par with Wipeout HD & Fury. Yes, it lacks on the Framerate of its PS3 prequels, but it's a very solid game. The game takes place in the not-too-distant-future. Imageine the hoverboards of Back To The Future as racing ships, and you get Wipeout (Just like BTTF, we will never see them ships in 2048). The races are fast and quite violent, you have to resort to weapons and the items scattered in the laps. The handling varies between ships, but it's very responsive and you can choose between 3 control schemes. There are 3 race modes: Normal Race, Time Trial and Zone. Zone is a racing type carried from the PSP and PS3 versions and it excels here too. You have to survive as long as you can as the ship goes gradually faster. The game overall is very solid and it's a perfect addition to your PS VIta.

An excellent update of the classic series that started on the Playstation. I have Wipeout on the PSP and PS3 and visually this game is up there with the PS3 games. There is a free update soon that will allow you to play wipeout HD on the Vita if you own the games on the PS3, and to add to this you get all the various game modes and the online play as well. It is certainly the best racing game in my opinion.

Wipeout 2048 is probably the best game on the Vita right now, it is as the series, always has been a fast paced racer set to dance music. The simple but effective gameplay we all know and love is still there. The only criticisms I can levy at is that it is slower and easier then some previous entries in the series such as Wipeout 2097 but until that gets re-made for the Vita you can't do better then this.

Wipeout, the futuristic racing game from Sony is back, looking amazing and feeling great. Quick and challenging tracks as ever and accurate spacecraft control, although analogue controls are definitely best. Without doubt, a must play for the Playstation Vita.

Wipeout is the must have title for the PS Vita. Brilliant graphics and gameplay. Controls on the Wipeout games have always been very good, but somehow they have improved. Such a slick game.
