Nice but sometimes....

A nice game but I played in 3 days. It is a normal story about saving your girlfriend, nothing more nothing less. You can level up your weapons and have to solve some puzzles. Overall, a nice game and for the price, you can´t go wrong.

excellent !

Big surprise, I thought this would be a poor game , but not at all! If you like Devil May Cry, or Bayonetta with Hell Spirit, get this game!

Shadows Of The Damned is fun

I bought Shadows Of The Damned with no real expectations, but it's worth the money. Funny jokes, cool story and the game play is good. You will have fun from the beginning til the end.

Do you like horror & fun? You'll like Shadows of the Damned!

Your arsenal is related to a skull-themed pistol, shotgun and machine-gun, but they are modified as the game progresses, introducing explosive upgrades. "Shadows of the Damned" is not only an "aim and shoot" game, but it includes puzzles and many battles with vile and deformed creatures that can only come from the darkest hell. Genre is horror, but at the same time, the main character Garcia is funny and irreverent: he will make you smile many times during the game.

Shadows Of The Damned

Shadows of the Damned is a game which is very good if you like Grindhouse style movies and over-the-top demon action 3rd person shooters. I recommend it.

Original, scary and crazy!

If you know the Suda 51's games, you'll know that this game is made for you. The view of this Tarantino and Rodriguez's hell is amazing. The characters are the best (most of all the skull demon Johnson and his sentence with sexual references). The only disappointing factor is the short story (and unique) mode, that is around 7 to 8 hours. Pick up this game you won't be disappointed.

Shadows Of The Damned

It´s a original game, with fresh visuals, and bizarre story. If you´re tired of CoD, GoW, BF... and many others sequels, try this one, and find something different.

Classic Suda 51 Marmite

If you've ever played anything else created by Goichi Suda (a.k.a Suda 51), you'll know that what you're about to play doesn't fit the norm. Michigan, Killer7, No More Heroes and now Shadows of The Damned. If you're expecting a fast, snappy, over the shoulder Gears/Unchartered 3rd Person cover shooter - look elsewhere. Shadows is one part Dusk Till Dawn, one part Resident Evil 4, with a healthy smattering of God Hand and Bayonetta. The setting - Hell - is fantastically realised. Suda 51's creativity and imagination fills the game world and it makes most other games seem by the numbers. The gameplay is snappy and fun and the humour is deliciously puerile and close to the bone. It's designed to shock - and whilst the majority of the jokes will make you chuckle, some do land a bit flat. But one thing's certain - this game does not take itself seriously at all. It requires the same of those who play it.

Amazing!

Saw some videos pre-release, looked pretty funny but thought I'd wait. Shadows of the Damned is an incredible game! Amazing soundtrack, script, and gameplay mechanics are really well done. Anyone that is a fan of Resident Evil 4 should buy this game right now! Only negative was that it was a little short but that's not necessarily a bad thing as I just wanted to play through it again right after finishing.
