Crashing time
Ridge Racer Unbounded is a good game for crashing into each other, but not really challenging to finish in the top 3. Multiplayer is good, but it's only for single player, so no local.

It's a good racing game for people who like arcade games with much destruction! Not like the previous ridge racer but more similar to NFS hot pursuit or split/second.

Huge departure...
This game is a huge departure from the Ridge Racer games, and is much more like the Need For Speed series. If you wanted more classic Ridge Racer, then give this a miss; but if you want a high-octane racer with quite stunning graphics, a decent soundtrack and overly-aggressive racing with drifting straight through various objects and boosting straight through various landmarks then you'll love it. Featuring a very polished and stylish UI, environment and set of cars, this game is huge. Don't be concerned that half of the game content could be locked away as DLC; that is not the case with Unbounded, there's tons of locations and vehicles all on the disc ready to be unlocked with XP. The downside is gameplay can be very unforgiving. There's no hand-holding with instant resets when you veer off course or get spun around by aggressive AI, so you'll easily lose a race with no chance of getting ahead. You'll love this if you like a challenge (and note that restarting a race doesn't take any time to load) but you'll need patience if you're new to this kind of racer.

Ridge Racer Unbounded
I feel that Ridge Racer Unbounded is somewhat unsatisfactory. The graphics are very beautiful, but I found that it was a bit clumsy to operate.
