great game
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is a great game with very good combinations. This is a similar game too Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2. The game arrived in a 4 days. Very good for Zavvi.

Great game but NG2 is still the best
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is what NG3 should have been in the beginning. The game is hard as hell. Indeed it requires skills, but it's so rewarding when you succeed to finish a level. The game play is still top notch but the game is too short in my opinion.

Great reworked game
I own both Ninja gaiden 3 and this "reworked" edition, and I must say, this game is 10 times better than original. Brutality and blood is back, all game mechanics are back, and good price. Must have for every Ninja gaiden fan. I gave rating of 5 stars because compared to original NG3 its a lot better.

Awesome game!
I have never played a Ninja Gaiden game before. Unfortunately, I wasn't in to the whole franchise when the first 2 games were released, but after giving Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge a go, I am certain I will, at some point, play through the older games. When I played the demo of this game on Xbox Live, I thoroughly enjoyed playing through both Ryu's segment, but also Ayane's segment too. I was actually happily surprised that Ayane was a playable character in this game. I love the Dead Or Alive franchise, so it felt awesome to control one of their lead characters in a hack and slash style adventure game. I purchased the full game shortly after playing the demo, and boy was it fun. The game play itself is pretty solid and the battle mechanics work like a gem. Blocking and dodging are a must if you are to survive 10 seconds in battle in this game, so I am amazed at how well it's done. The graphics and overall quality of the game is great. The frame rate runs perfectly, even when surrounded by enemies of various sizes, the controls are smooth and instant, and pulling off combos and instant kills, which sometimes lead into multi-instant kills, feel great. The storyline took some time for me to get used to, as I have not played through the previous games, but overall, it was very well written and had some good plot twists to keep you interested and on your feet. As an overall game, I loved it. It provides an immediate challenge from the very start, so you're right in the action from the moment you press start. Sit back, relax and enjoy.
