'Solid' return to a great series
4I loved these games when they were released and I was excited when a HD Collection was announced and my inner self felt the same excitement that I felt once before. If you haven't played this series before I urge you to purchase it, as it is ones of the most intelligent and fun games you will ever play. If you have played them before, then you know what you're in for and let me tell you, time has not diminished this game in any way! A thoroughly entertaining series, brought together in a brilliant collection, well worth the price tag, in fact, it's a steal!

METAL GEAR AWESOME
5The colourful artwork really stands out and I also found the art book teeming with detail. The game itself is how I remembered it. The first time I picked it up I had to think to remember the controls, but I got used to it again in no time. My only issue with this pack is that the T-shirt is a medium which is a bit small for me.

Back, and better than ever!
5I was hooked on MGS from the moment my friend suggested MGS2 to me. Playing all three in this collection definitely brings back alot of memories, and the updates included in the "HD Collection" are enough to leave the player feeling like they are playing a completely revamped game. This is definitely one to add to the collection, for MGS fans, and newcomers alike.

5Ever since I heard about this collection coming out, I was very excited & could not wait to get my hands on it. I'm still waiting because I live in the UK but it's just a week away until I can finally play these amazing games once again, now in glorious HD with trophy support which I am very happy with as I'm a big trophy hunter. Wish the original or Twin Snakes was included in the collection as I've never played TS before, but I have the original MGS via PSN. But I am happy with Peace Walker as I've never played it either so it will be a new experience for me. I played MGS2 & MGS3 non stop back in the day & I still do When I want a bit of stealth action with brilliant stories to follow as well. At last, these are now back in HD, the way they should be, with all the bonuses from Substance & Subsistance including the 2 classic NES games. All I can say about MGS is that to me, it's one of the best franchises out there & still is. With amazing story telling, gorgeous graphics, superb voice acting, brilliant game play & hours upon hours of fun. Even more hours now that it has trophies to collect. I think that this will be the best HD collection out there & I highly recommend that you add this to your game collection. I've pre-ordered my limited edition & again, I highly recommend that you do too, you'll be very disappointed if you don't. 11/10

5Bundle together three games that people define as "classics," you should expect an amazing product. The Metal Gear Solid Collection DOES & WILL deliver that when it hits the UK. The controls, stories and content so many fell in love with years ago are here. Games can't move forward without knowing where they've been, and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a welcome, enjoyable glimpse at what once was. The Graphics were to me slick and detailed back when they first came out, it's clear at points that these weren't in HD to begin with, but now they are I can't wait to feast my eyes on these beautiful games again. I'm not gonna lie to you, when I played MGS2 for the first time, it made me cry, which was a first for me for a game to make me do that. The ability to jump back to the main Collection menu from each game is something all bundles should adopt because it's a pain keep having to quit the game then load it back up in order to play another. Quality sound, music & voice acting is synonymous with MGS. I've never played Peace Walker but I'm sure it will deliver, even better now that it's in HD. You’re getting three huge games, MGS2 Substance with all the bonuses, MGS3 Susbsistance with all the bonuses including the 2 classic 8-bit games & Peace Walker with Online Play. You can easily spend a hundred hours with just one of these games, well I sure could & now that each has its own batch of trophies to grab, I can't wait to get em because I'm a proper trophy hunter. To me this will be THE best HD collection ever for a very long time. I've pre-ordered my limited edition, make sure you do too before they run out. You'll be very disappointed if you don't. 11/10 :-D
