Perfect Noire
It's an other interesting sandbox game from Rockstar Games. Good detective story and new type of gaming experience, but don't expect GTA and other RG products.

This game is a time machine
Don't expect your usual sandbox. Most popular video games feature a lot of shooting, racing, fighting and exploring. And while players can also drive around the city and get in occasional fistfights and shootings, the heart of L.A. Noire is something very different: here they investigate and interrogate digital characters who act, and interact, more humanly than we have ever before seen in a video game. It's a really focused production, one that doesn't fool around and allows you to concentrate on storytelling elements like narrative, character, setting and plot. The Rockstar hallmark gritty, believable, wry dialogue is on full display here. This a unique and stylish production. I feel there's an irresistible pull to 1947. There's a real romance to the time, as well as incredible violence. Doctors told you to smoke. Everybody drinked and danced. There was a formality to things. L.A. Noire treats this very human reality with a deft, mature hand that lends all the police-procedural gameplay an emotional heft rarely felt in video games. Thankfully, there are a few straight-up villains to take out and no shortage of thrills. But ambiguity is the order of the day, and L.A. Noire serves it up with flair. Now go and find some murder cases.

L.A. Noire
When I bought L.A. Noire, I was thinking that it would be fast paced game where crimes would be dealt with force and firepower, I turned out to be wrong. Instead L.A. Noire has a well thought out story that was as dark as it was fun. The game also bosted some of the best detail and grahpics I have ever seen. The three disc format that the game had was the essential to its detail. Much of the game was fast paced and full of action, but thats not to say that the game had some slow parts. Take the Homicide Desk, which was (to me) one of the slowest parts of the game and was almost the same thing each time. Many of the other desks such as Vise and Traffic, had fun cases which gave the game playablity. If you stick with the main story of L.A. Noire and ignore all of the dispatch calls (which also spice the game up at points) then you'll spend around 22 houts to beat the game. Now there's 40 dispatch calls that you can respond to, and 84 cars (some of which are special hidden cars) which are all collectable and have achievments that can be unlocked for finding a certain amount of them. The developers have been making DLC for the game which can be played after the game has been beaten. So you basically have plenty to do in the game. Sadly the game doesn't allow a free roam feature after the game, seeing that the game plays like a movie and only allows a replay feature to replay any cases or DLC once played through in the story. This means that during the time when you need to get somewhere and time doesn't matter is your free roam time. Overall, the game plays great except for the intarigations which can be challenging and frustrating at times, but if you enjoy a good story, scenery and music, L.A. Noire is a game worth playing.

L.A. Noire
I enjoyed L.A. Noire so much! It really puts your brain to the test! Solving cases, fighting murderers, chasing crooks, interrogating, it's all here. This game really any other! It's very interesting when you get to interrogate people and ask lots of questions - it's like being a detective in real life! You need good skills and plenty of patience with this game, so if you do, I recommend you buy it. It's so amazing!
