Close to perfect
4Kingdoms of Amalur is an amazing action RPG game. Action being the right word here. Do not expect a deep RPG game like Skyrim or Fallout. This is more action oriented and very good at that, better than a lot of third person action games actually. The only nitpick I have overall is that it could be made to be harder. I've been playing on the hardest difficulty and it's a walk in the park most times. The design direction is amazing, the only bad thing being the design for a specific race (the Fae) that seems too classic. But that could be just my opinion. The story is interesting but the dialogs and characters lack some depth. And being a fan of Mass Effect or Assassins Creed, this bothered me a little. Even though things could have been much better here and there, this is a solid game and a very entertaining experience. I'd recommend this game to pretty much anyone.

4The game arrived quickly. Love the game-play and the plot, would have liked a bit more in options on character creating, but otherwise great. Uses the basic fighter/rogue classes in any combo. Expect lots more fun with this game.

One word? Amazing!
5The title says it all, this game to me is absolutely amazing! It's detailed, it's quite easy to understand and it's full of action with a detailed and amazing story line! Add to that the intro alone is amazing! The way you can customize your character and the way they intergrate it into the story, it's fantastic! Also the abilities with swords, and other weapons is sweet! You keep learning as you play, and of course keep getting stronger. You are in charge of your own destiny, literally! Also the graphics are pretty wicked to look at and the monsters and creatures you have to fight are sometimes downright chill worthy! A must buy!

5Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning is great, with an excellent grinding system, lots and lots of quests, areas to explore and secret to be found. It's a total must-have for every RPG fan.

4Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning is good, I was a little bit skeptical before buying it but it definitely worth my money, the gameplay is great, the story and the level/monster design are both really really good!

At least as good as Skyrim!
5A must have RPG if you like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fable etc. Vast world to explore and nice ideas in combat such as the Fate Meter, a kind of Turbo boost to attacks that can earn you substantially greater XP to help you level up faster. Personally I like the slightly cartoony graphic style, Skyrim graphics are very atmospheric but can get a little gloomy after a while. My only 'complaint' is the fact that it draws you in so much the hours can pass without you realising!

Kingdoms of Amalur
3Kingdoms of Amalur is a good and fun game to kill some free time with, but no real depth to it. A few menu issues stop the flow of gameplay, which lets the game down, but fun combat makes up for it along with pretty good character customisation, overall, a fun experience.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning
5It has to be said this review is based on initial impressions. So far I have played for about 15 hours and have only just scratched the surface. Graphics and sound are excellent, but i must mention the lighting which is really in keeping with the fantasy setting. The forest areas are especially good with the light coming through the trees. The story, while in some ways following many fantasy standards is intriguing you as the fulcrum of the story the fateless one who can change events around yourself according to your choices. Which is a good spin on the paragon - renegade format and at the stage I am at in the story is really pulling me in. The side missions are fun and varied and there is also 2 dlc add on packs if you finish everything in the game. I have enjoyed this game more than any other so far this year other than mass effect 3. If you are a RPG fan of like your fantasy books buy it you won't regret it.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning
4If you like this type of game, you will like Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning. It reminded me of Fable. It has good grahics and good gameplay, although there's nothing new I'm afraid, but it's well worth the money.
