4Halo 4 is a very good halo game. I would recommend this to any fan of the series.

Reporting for duty!
5Halo 4 is epic! I have had all the halo games to date and still have from 3 onwards in my game collection. I was unsure about a new developer taking over and halo releasing another trilogy but this game is amazing. A new story following on from the previous Halo games but years later, there are new enemies to fight and new game modes online. This will be another classic that everyone with an Xbox should own!

CHIEF IS BACK!!!!
5If you are like me and have been eagerly awaiting the return of one of the best characters in gaming, but been slightly worried what 343 will do with our beloved franchise. DON'T BE. 343 have done an excellent job at recapturing what made chief so brilliant to begin with. First off the graphics are incredible, I'm really rather surprised how good this game looks on a console way out of its prime. Secondly, the story, this is not the best story in the Halo franchise but its leagues ahead of the abysmal Halo: Reach and will keep you gripped throughout Chief's newest adventure. Next comes the gameplay, this is where Halo 4 really shines, this is classic Halo gameplay with modern tweaks which add to the experience brilliantly. Take this game online and you'll really see why. Now onto the bad, this campaign is incredibly short, you can easily finish it in a single sitting if you are so inclined, just when the story starts kicking off, it just ends, however this ending is awesome. All in all this game is brilliant, if you are a Halo fan you'll absolutely love this game to bits.

Very pleasantly surprised
4I'd have definitely given Halo 4 five stars if it weren't for the short campaign (I finished in 4 hours 45 minutes) but nonetheless, it was incredible. 343 did an excellent job, I wasn't expecting much considering it's their first release, especially on such a huge title. Multi-player is the best it has ever been and spartan ops is a nice change from firefight. If the idea of a short campaign doesn't bother you and you are a Halo fan, I would 100% recommend it.

Halo - Not as you knew it but back to basics
5I was expecting to hate Halo 4 because it's 343 building their version of a game that I have played for a long time and is close to my heart. They have done a brilliant job, and the game play of the main story is fun. Online multi-player is where the big changes have occurred - kill counts giving way to points, and map-based weapon drops giving way to personal audience drops based on points earned. This initially concerned me but it really helps the flow of the game. You can't have one player dominating just because they know where all of the power weapons are any more and it makes every match more balanced. The graphics have received a major overhaul and there are some great new vehicles to use. This is Halo evolved. It's not what you know- it's the same species but a more efficient killer!
