Dragon's Dogma Trailers
You are the Arisen. Your heart was ripped out and stolen from you by a dragon that destroyed your home, the fishing village of Casadeis. The dragon named you as the chosen one before it took your heart, which you have proved thus far by living still. Live out and follow your destiny, as you set out to hunt down and kill the dragon that tore out and stole your heart. May the Dragon's Eye never find you.
Dragon's Dogma is visually stunning, and incorporates a vast amount of action and customisation alongside beautiful and graphically breathtaking environments. When creating your character, as well as gender and appearance customisation, you will have a wide variety of classes to choose from, each with their own personal strengths, abilities, and weakness. These classes range from and include Fighter, Warrior, Mystic Knight, Strider, Ranger, Assassin, Mage, Sorcerer, and Magic Archer, amongst others. Armour and weaponry is also available to customise, with players possessing the ability to upgrade their items and equipment by using a crafting system. This customisation also extends to your main pawn.
Dragon's Dogma has introduced a fresh and innovative pawn system featuring AI NPCs, where players can create and tailor a main pawn to their specifications, and also have two other rented pawns follow them to help with combat, etc. Although you won't have direct control over your pawns actions, commands can be given using the d-pad, and their disposition in your party can be controlled by encouraging or discouraging specific behaviour; for example, healing other members of your party, or being at the front line of all battles. Pawns will also gain and retain knowledge and information as they traverse with you through this vast world, from where treasures are hidden in certain areas, to remembering enemy weaknesses and the best strategies to utilise in order to defeat them.
There are several other unique and interesting features that have been incorporated into this game, including a “grab” action. This allows you to literally grab onto anything you can get your hands on, and even extends to giving you the ability to climb enemies, amongst other things. This adds a wide variation when it comes to strategy in battle, and makes your combat options for you and your party almost limitless. There is a day and night system in place, which will have an affect upon the monsters that you encounter, and will also have influence on certain quests. There are also ferrystones, which allow players to fast travel to specific locations. All of this and more can be found within Dragon's Dogma, alongside the brutal combat Capcom fans have come to expect, epic creatures and monsters, as well as some of the most beautiful environments you could imagine. Dark Arisen
This is a great adventure game for those who seek a challenge and love Dark Souls, but wish it would be more open-world-like. It might feel overhelming at first, but you should not give up, because it gets really satisfying as you progress and figure aout how stuff works. Aswell as gaining new abilities to try out. Nonetheless, you should not buy this version of the game. The new and enhanced version ''Dark Arisen'' has been updated and was greatly improved upon the original. In comparison this game gets just 3 stars, "Dark Arisen" gets 5 stars. It is vastly superior!

Dragon's Dogma
The game has some flaws, pawns can be annoying sometimes but I've never seen an RPG with better combat than this one.

Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Dogma is a good mix between an action JRPG, classic and occidental RPGs like Skyrim. The graphics are not very good, story is poor, background is basic but the game play is very fun with the old job systems of final fantasy V. The fights are not the same between night and day. The pawn party system for Dragon's Dogma also seems inspired by Demon's Souls in how other players can impact your single-player adventure it's the best JRPG alongside Nier and Lost Odyssey for this generation of consoles.

Dragon's Dogma is a good game but with a lot of technical issues.

Great Western/Eastern Mashup
Dragon's Dogma is a bizarre mishmash of Western and Japanese game design that ultimately works well for the most part. For an open world fantasy game, this feels quite unique.

Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Dogma is a magnificent game. It's has its issues (NPC AI being the most representative), but I love it. It has me glued to the controller. I definitely recommend it.

Dragon's Dogma
Where to begin? Dragon's Dogma is a well made in-depth adventure/action game. It has a medievil feel to it, and the play style is like a cross between Skyrim and Dark Souls. My favorite feature of this game is the lighting effects because on this game when it gets dark, it gets really dark. You have to rely on your torch and your ears to get you through the madness. Another great feature is the A.I. of your companions. You know how on most games you end up rescuing your teammates over and over again to the point where you just want to shoot your allies in the face and go it alone? Well in Dogma it's quite the contrary. Your companions will actually end up saving you. There's so many fantastic features on this game and well over 80 hours of gameplay.
