Darksiders 2 allows you to take control of the Horseman Death's destiny, setting the game in the same time period as the original Darksiders, yet from Death's perspective. You are one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and wield power known unto no mortal being, your name striking fear in to the hearts of men. However, such power will always come at a price, and you have set out to restore balance amongst the world and clear your brother War's name, who has been accused of prematurely bringing about the Apocalypse. Journey through and explore vast terrain whilst on your quest to restore your brother's honour, with a varied array of weapons and armour to aid you.
The features of this game have dramatically improved since the original, for the bigger and the better, with astounding and vibrant graphics. The maps within this game have at least doubled in size since its predecessor, as well as more articulate weapon and armour upgrade systems. Alongside this, there are more puzzles to solve, as well as more dungeons to challenge both your wits and strength. There are also more extensive customisations and upgrades to explore with your character, with skill trees to grow through to fully enhance your capabilities. To help you against this game's much more formidable enemies, fighting styles have also been improved. There are better combat combinations and weapons, such as your signature twin scythes which can fuse in to one given the right combo, as well as an alternative giant hammer to truly decimate your opponents. This is combined with your gear and gadgets, such as the Ghost Hook, which can all be used against your foes to bring about your ultimate victory.
Ride forth through the regions of Heaven, Hell and the Earth itself to restore balance and defend your brother War, at all costs. With Death, you could bring about the end... or the beginning. (Cat Emerson)

Good as the first one
Death can remind maybe to often to Raziel, from Legacy of Kain, but that's not too much of a bad thing. Compared with the previous one, this game adds some kind of RPG only in the choice of dialogue order (or to skip it altogether), optional quests, items and a greater ability tree. For what is worth, anyway, it's an action game as good as Darksiders. Death is a bit less charismatic than War, but the change of pace between War's hard blocks and Death's quick dodges changes the way of play. It requires practice to dodge because you cannot chain more than two, and if timed poorly bosses are going to be tough. Through the game you sympathize with Death's feeling as an errand boy, grown tired of some people and smiling when Death so it says. Just like the end of the one, so satisfactory, there are some boss battles ended in that kind of tired-of-you already, with Death doing a cinematic final far more satisfactory that any QTE or red-life-bar going to zero. Overall, is a good game I like playing, with a lot of spatial puzzles to be solved.

Great game
This game is worth every penny. If you liked the first title, you will love Darksiders 2. The main difference is in my opinion that you have a greater "skilling" part. Nearly every defeated enemy drops an item which sometimes better than the one you already have (eg. boots or a weapon). The action is as good as in the first Darksiders. I would buy it again.

Thank you Death
After playing Darksiders 1 (and really loved this game and War character) I really anticipated to play this title for a long time. The game play is pretty much the same as the first title, which makes the learning curve of the game pretty easy. The voice acting of the different characters you'll meet in the game is great and the scenery is outstanding. The characters visual on the other hand could use an extra polish. The combat mechanism is easy to use what makes the fights scenes so much fun. This title differ from the first title in the way you can upgrade Death character and using this skills in battle. Overall it's a great game for all of the Hack & Slash lovers out there.

Darksiders II
Darksiders II is an excellent game. If you played Darksiders I, add depth (or death), fluid animation, loot and inspired level design, enhanced with superb graphics and you have an idea of what is Darksiders II. I liked the first game, I love the second.

Darksiders is back!
Darksiders is one of those games that are left on the sidelines at their output to pursue other noble titles. At the time of the first chapter with War I found the game and playing it quite by accident. I discovered a fantastic universe and excellent playability. I enjoyed the game from start to finish without a break and looked forward to its sequel. Darksiders 2 does not betray the expectations. Starting up where the previous adventure we will get in the shoes of Death to travel the long road to redemption. Although the game has a few framerate problems, this does not affect the gameplay. The new title is with pleasure and lets you play as well as revive the classic gameplay of Darksiders, add several solutions during gameplay and corrects some minor imperfections. The game can be considered as a dark Zelda (and all Nintendo fans know what I'm talking about when it comes to gameplay of Zelda). Many skills and customizations can be used during the adventure. Quests and many secrets lengthen your day to save humanity and free your brother. The game is recommended for anyone looking for an adventure that's long-lived and deeply satisfying.
