Great
5I've wanted to play this for such a long time now and i can finally play this game. I love it, I've played all other assassins creed games to date (with exception to black flags) and i just love them. It teaches you history as your playing, this one is about the revolution. Fun to play, 11/10

Best assassin's creed yet
4I have only recently discovered the Assassin's Creed games and in the last month I have completed the previous 4 games. Assassin's Creed III is by far the best of the lot and the DLC really adds to the game. I am really looking forward to black flag in a couple of months time.

Excellent!!
5Assassin's Creed 3 arrived within a short number of days without a single scratch, works perfectly without any problems so far. Plus the price is awesome the cheapest I found on the internet, very good offer.

5Assassin's Creed 3 is slow to get going, but once Connor and all of his abilities are available to the player, faffing about has never been so diverse. There are numerous and diverse enemies and challenges to confront and defeat, and many side quests that can be completely avoided with little to no loss of story depth. That being said, I do have one problem - the guards. They detect player actions far too easily and they are numerous. However after the player reaches sufficient skill level, the issues start to go away. The fighting mechanics from the last games are done away with - block is now B, and the trigger has been all but removed as a part of combat. This is a difficult change to get used to at first, but it can be done. Free running mechanics are changed as well, to hop fences and tables the player needs to hold A but other than that the only thing you need to do while free running is hold the trigger. This frees up the right thumb more for camera angle adjustment.

Great has become greater
5Assassin's Creed 3 is an amazing entry into the Assassin's Creed universe. It offers greater freedom than before with a revamped climbing system. Everything in this game is smoother than before. The amount of time spent on polishing this game has paid off in what is definitely the best Assassin's Creed gameplay experience so far.

still got it
5I was a little bit biased, as there have been many negative things said about bugs and the game not feeling like assassins creed title, but one you get through the first 5-6 memories, its all good again. Also, this time around there are many more things to do, making AC3 nearly a sandbox. You can do Homestead mini-missions, you can sail and do naval combat (unfortunately its too easy), you can do main missions etc. My biggest complaint is that you cant see all the gear/goods you buy at home and can't customize it. Could've been a great addition. Also, the climbing up to view points is easy and boring this time, but it comes with setting - there were no grand cathedrals in americas at the time. Overall - a solid entry into franchise, making the world more open.

Frustrating
2The story of Assassin's Creed 3 is way too long to set up, yet so predictable. Most of dialogues are boring. The different "hubs" you've got to manually cross to come and go attending every mission are, at the end, very, very unpleasant. The relationship between Desmond and his father is so cliché and does not bring any light to the main scenario. The game play carries on the same default I found when I played Assassin's Creed 2 the first time. Sometimes Desmond is hard to control due to bad angle of the camera. Personally, I found the ship battles mission very similar and unpleasant to play. I just want to finish the main story, by honour, but I don't find it pleasant to keep Desmond moving on. Maybe I'm too old to appreciate this fifth opus, maybe I'm tired with financial matters put before gamers' pleasure. Maybe, this fifth one, despite all differences, is way too similar to the former ones. It's very frustrating.

Another good one
4Assassin's Creed 3 is a very good and addictive game. It's as good as any of the previous games in the series. My favorite one is still Brotherhood, but this one is still very good.

Creed is back
4So far so creed, which is a good thing. Not far into Assassin's Creed 3 yet but so far I'm enjoying it. The controls do seem to have been improved for the character and moving them around. However, I did accidentally murder a courier right in front of two red coats by pressing X rather than B. I spent the subsequent chase across rooftops being shot at until I managed to evade them. In this game the redcoats don't climb onto the roofs to get to you it, unlike the Brotherhood game but this is fairly realistic as who else would be able to clamber up buildings like Spider-man whilst holding a musket!?
