Remember those games years ago where you would run around collecting and searching for those gold coins? Well... Alice: Madness Returns is a game like that, the good ol' games! However, it's not all that dull having you run around aimlessly for nothing! It has a story, although some might think it's grim, it's completely twisted, dark and puts a whole different aspect onto the Alice story. As you complete the fantastic looking levels you gain more costumes to match the scenes. You have very odd weapons too... ever tried combat with a tea pot before? Not to mention Alice's amazing Vorpal Blade. As you are off on your twisted nightmare to solve Alice's family mystery you level up your weapons, as well as getting bonus stats to help you out! It's not a game that you need to take seriously, it's pure madness and great fun!

Alice The Madness Returns is a game which is hard to describe the quality of the images we get here it's a masterpiece and is therefore something different in recycling have become quite sterile play area. The knowledge to convince between sequences with their comic-like woodcut. The dialogues, especially the Cheshire cat with the sarcasm and cynicism and, with the soundtrack for the dark mood of the well is brought over and immerse one in Wonderland, nothing precludes. Unfortunately, it is but by the technical point of view, ripped out again and again from Wonderland. Thus ensuring the weak textures and details for the construction of the Late sitting from time to time prior to his console and the feeling will not go to the team more time should have let sleeping fine at Alice The Madness Returns the last to enter. I would have liked to McGee and Spicy Horse falling on each of the combos are there in the game or even a boss fight. Even a couple of times, the dexterity deposits ensure that you turn on your brain would have been nice. Also the environment is not as straight forward more freedom would have been nice. But on the whole White Alice Madness Returns to the well maintained and offers something for his money more than mash a big production. And it's a shame that this game was something else Delivers so little attention is paid then it is no wonder that the developers keep making the same kind of game. Because Alice shows The Madness Returns best how difficult it good games at this day have in the gaming world to come and compete against titles like Call of Duty, GTA or Assassin's Creed for me is Alice The madness returns of the top songs of 2011

Imaginative and very, very dark

Don't expect dancing clams and friendly faces in this Wonderland. This is a dark vision of the after effects of Alice's first trip into that most bizarre of worlds. The original film, whilst not without it's worrying moments, was unashamedly a kids film. Surprising, then, that both of these games are gritty and visceral adult titles. What do I mean by both? Well this game isn't actually a stand alone title, it is in fact a sequel to American McGee's Alice, and that prequel is actually contained in every new purchase of Alice, Madness returns. So, beyond 2 games for the price of 1, a great thing in and of itself, what can we make of the 2 games available? Well the first game was made way back in 2000 on the Quake 3 engine. Needless to say that visually and gameplay wise, it has not aged well. However the story is still more than a little stirring, and can easily hook you if you find the concept of a dark Wonderland intriguing. With blood pouring and tripped out puzzles at every corner, it isn't an easy play, but a rewarding one for the story enthusiast. The sequel, however, is a much more polished title. Released in 2011, ultimately it still falters somewhat in the gameplay department, but the visuals are staggering. You can easily get lost in this twisted fantasy, and as the story unfolds you can't help but almost prefer the darker image than the one of the original film. Ultimately it won't win any gameplay awards, and as far as games go, it isn't in my top 10, but for story? You can't go wrong with Alice: Madness Returns.

The game is cool, but what is even more cool is that its online pass contains the original game as a download!

I played the first Alice a long time ago on PC, and I must admit that the second game hasn't lost anything at all. It's still the same great, dark, twisted adventure, that doesn't burn your eyes with bad graphics. It's actually a very pleasing game, visually. One thing I noticed about the first one, was that it has always remained playable and finally enjoyable, and I can see this one being the same. Alice: Madness Returns is basically a great, fun adventure, with dark humour and twisted levels. If you want a fairly good, challenging game, then go for it. It feels very original and refreshing. I don't regret buying this game at all. I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere and the universe are extremely worked. The sets are each time a discovery as we advance in the game. The gameplay is a little dusty, making some parts a bit nervous, but nothing really difficult. The achievements are long enough to obtain because there are a lot of research. You will need to reload some chapters to finish successfully.

Personally, I could not play Alice with an HDMI connection, so the texture problems I was not embarrassed. I found this beautiful game, the atmosphere involved is simple, as soon as I inserted the CD into the console, I could not take off. The world is so immersive that it's not a problem to replay several times to find all the secrets. The story is well thought out, except the end. One gets the impression they wanted to find something so grand at the end it was just added to the hurry and you do not understand what that got to do. But that does not prevent the pleasure we take to play this game with different gameplay sequences are breaking the pace a little too linear game (normal when dealing with a set of platform that said ), except perhaps the parts of "balls", which I found too long.
