it's a little big treasure!
Hi there! I think rpg's lovers should buy this game! If you can close an eye on the graphic, it wil grant you a lot of stuff to do, and a lot of fun!

Rune Factory Oceans
Rune Factory Oceans is great if you like this sort of game. There is more emphasis on fighting and exploring than farming this time, which I prefer. The characters are good as always for rune factory. The graphics, also as usual for rune factory, are not "great" but they don't need to be. This game is also quite long if you do everything, so it's a good thing to buy.

Rune Factory
Rune Factory Oceans is a brilliant game. It takes time to grow stuff and breeding monsters is as easy as previous titles. There's lots to do, with loads of skills to learn.

Laid-back adventure
Rune Factory Oceans is a laid-back Rune factory adventure. The graphics aren't top notch but good enough to play on the wide screen TV. It's recommended if you're a fan of the series on the DS. I had this shipped to Japan and I highly recommend Zavvi for international purchases!

Rune Factory Oceans
We start the game with a slight twist on what many Harvest Moon/Rune Factory gamers are generally use to. We have a young male and female; childhood friends; the guy's pretty arrogant yet commands respect, whilst the girl's reminiscent of a whiny little sister - via some obscure event, they have been warped to another time? Like all games within this series - you are guaranteed hours of game-play and control over what you do (I will add though, some basic tasks are a bit harder, but some may like the challenge). Unlike other games within this series, as stated previous, the playable characters have personalities whereas beforehand, your character was generally a blank canvas with multiple choice answers to questions. Rune Factory Oceans is a stand alone title which anyone can pick up, yet is part of a well known franchise - the ongoing Harvest Moon series which in recent years branched off into a series of classic mellow simulation with added RPG - the Rune Factory. This game may be a very alien concept to some who aren't too familiar with the series or anything similar; tedious or even tricky if you haven't played anything like it before, or the start of a whole new adventure, it all depends on the person. I for one was excited to see this on the PS3. At this price, it was a steal!

A good jrpg
Rune Factory Oceans is your typical run of the mill JRPG which is a good thing if your really into them like I am. The combat is easy enough for beginners to pick up but is enjoyable enough if you're experienced at JRPGs. There is lots to do in this game apart from the RPG aspects such as farming, cooking and raising the monsters that inhabit the areas to aid your cause or look after your crops. There is a lot of hours here to keep you busy apart from the main game. The story is quirky and funny and you really get to like the characters. The only thing that lets this game down is the graphics. There are much more polished JRPGs on the PS3 but if you would rather have good gameplay and an interesting story then this is the JRPG for you.

Fun but....
The game is pretty much slow, a lot of back and forth. Loading time is tedious. The graphics are alright though. I found the story quite amusing. This game is only fit for those who want to play harvest moon game-like in current gen console.
