disappointing
I recently played Winter Stars and loved it, so I decided to purchase something similar. I thought this game was pretty similar and it was. There's several different sports and they play like arcade mini-games. The problem with this game was the lack of modes. The multiplayer is local only, and it feels tacked on, because most of the time it's not real multiplayer, but swapping between who's playing. There's an online element to the game. It requires you to be a part of Ubisoft's Uplay. The actual graphical interface is very confusing, hard to use and takes out all the fun of the feature. The worst thing about this game is that it has worse graphics than Winter Stars, but yet you get horrible frame rate issues, especially on the bicycle. Often even the sound can freeze for a quarter of a second or so too. Each time you play a game you will get XP, and from that you will unlock different costumes at random. There's very few costumes if you don't want to purchase some from Uplay, and only one has any feature that affects the gameplay. Winter Stars had a similar system too, but there you could choose what to upgrade. The game also misses a story mode, which again Winter Stars had. Needless to say, I was very disappointed, and this has got to be one of the worst games I've played so far on my PS3.
