5Mass Effect 2 is a great game. It provides many hours of playing, and is a must have for people who like adventure games and space. Perfect!

Worth it
4Despite encountering a few bugs it's still one of the more enjoyable games out there. And at 40+ hours it's certainly got bang for your buck. Not the best game ever made but better than the majority of the dross out there. More of a 3rd person shooter now than an RPG however that's not a bad thing.

Mass Effect 2
5This was my second time purchasing Mass Effect 2, having completed it previously on my Xbox 360, before selling it, and my opinion of it hasn't change at all! It's an all-round brilliant game, especially if you like deep, story-driven games where your playing style actually makes a difference. All this comes with the nice addition of some good old, 3rd-person shooting thrown in. If you ever played the first Mass Effect game, you will love this one just as much, if not more. One bonus I discovered is that all Playstation 3 copies come with a code, that along with giving you access to a range of downloadable content, that provides with new armour, characters, and a vehicle not included in the basic version, it gives you the "genesis" interactive comic that fills you in on the story of the first Mass Effect game, and lets you make the pivotal choices you missed. It's a fantastic game, and I recommend it to anybody. It'd be a shame to miss out on such a to-end franchise.

Mass Effect 2
5Fantastic game! Already put in 10 hours and it feels like I'm still nowhere near the end! One of those games which chains you to your couch for 30H+, with all the loyalty quests, and a vast universe to explore. The story is superb, one of the main reasons you can't put the game down. And then I didn't even mention the action itself, or the graphics, design, soundtrack, voice acting all of which are top notch! I can only recommend this one.

Save the galaxy once more!!!
5Mass Effect 2 is an hybrid game which combines two genres, Third Person Shooter and RPG. A huge part of the game is dedicated to social interaction too, and it's up to the player to shape every single detail of your character in the way you find more appropriate. Among battles, space travels and diplomatic disputes of the various races there's also time for romance. The game itself is very balanced and never too frustrating. If the players fails, it's probably lack of ability not of a cheap enemy. Using correctly your team member, yours and their abilities is the key to succeed in every mission. Also, you have to deal with your squad members. It's not an easy task but eventually you can gain the trust of everyone... or not. But it's worth the effort when every person becomes loyal. As for the story, I don't want to spoil too much. I leave the pleasure to find what is this about to newcomers of the series. You're Commander Shepard and you have to save the galaxy (not to mention the Earth) for the SECOND time from an alien race who wants to destroy us all! Will you be able to do it?

INCREDIBLE
5Mass Effect 2 is one of the most great games ps3 ever had! It is SciFi Adventure with very good story, exciting from the first to the last minute. Bioware created a universe worthy of mension. It is no an exaggeration if we compare it even with the STAR WARS universe. The graphics are 5/5 and the whole atmosphere is a great experience. You dont want to be a gamer that has not played it on its time. Also, with the price that Zavvi is selling it, its a sin not to have this title on your collection.

It is THAT good
5This game is a must have for everyone that loves sci-fi, lore, and a compelling story. The amount of races, stories and fun stuff to read and learn is really good. But the game is alot of story and dialogues, oposing to the gameplay. Some may dislike that, but that is what makes the game as good as it is. Recommend to everygamer to give it at least a try. Really worth it.

A deep and vivid universe
5What a delight to meet again with this great universe ! I had played on Mass Effect on my PC but could not taste the full high settings eye candy back then. So I got my hands on that PS3 version to be sure they would not be that deceiving moment where you have to lower the settings to be able to play at a decent frame rate. And, my oh my, the graphics are great ! The facial models are still stunning and the count of polygons has greatly increased ! But Mass Effect is not just about the eye candy, the context of the game is still very deep, I cannot help but spend my time reading all the encyclopedia text in-game. I would just regret that they made the gameplay a bit simpler, by removing some of the RPG aspects: you can still choose the weapons of your commando but you can't select mods to affect their equipment nor select their armor. But this is not that bad regarding the complex and thrilling plot, this Mass Effect episode is by far less manichean than the first one (I won't spoil though ...) If you liked Mass Effect, I don't see why you would not like this Mass Effect 2. If you did not play the first episode, go grab it and this one, it's really a great space opera (and I am not specially a fan of that kind of genra).

Beauty of the Mass Effect universe
5This is not just a game.. it is an epic adventure which moves hearts and minds. When I played 1 part I couldnt blink with my eyes because I didnt want to loose any second of the gameplay and I wanted more!!! When I bought part 2.... I was sad that I am was not a machine - I played Mass Effect 2 for 16 hours straight and had to go to sleep because my eyes couldnt take it anymore :D this just shows how addictive and amazing this game is!!!! Personally Mass Effect universe, story line and character are superior to Star Wars. I just LOVE Mass Effect. In my personal favorite game universe ranking it is on number one (along with Deus Ex and Metal Gear Solid universe) I value this game mostly for plot and characters I remember. the gameplay is much smoother than the Mass Effect 1 game. it reminds me of Gears of War in a way. battles are quick but demanding (insane difficulty) and satisfying! character development and plot advancement are astonishing. If you like sci-fi tpp shooters with rpg touch and awesome plot turns with characters you really care about - this game is for you! I really recommend this! (now im going back for another spin!)
