It's the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead...and that's before things really get ugly. It's a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It's a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way.
As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you'll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare "winner takes all" and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.
- Feel the Heat in New Vegas! Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. Explore the vast expanses of the desert wastelands - from the small towns dotting the Mojave Wasteland to the bright lights of the New Vegas strip. See the Great Southwest as could only be imagined in Fallout.
- Feuding Factions, Colorful Characters and a Host of Hostiles! A war is brewing between rival factions with consequences that will change the lives of all the inhabitants of New Vegas. The choices you make will bring you into contact with countless characters, creatures, allies, and foes, and determine the final explosive outcome of this epic power struggle.
- New Systems! Enjoy new additions to Fallout: New Vegas such as a Companion Wheel that streamlines directing your companions, a Reputation System that tracks the consequences of your actions, and the aptly titled Hardcore Mode to separate the meek from the mighty. Special melee combat moves have been added to bring new meaning to the phrase "up close and personal". Use V.A.T.S. to pause time in combat, target specific enemy body parts and queue up attacks, or get right to the action using the finely-tuned real-time combat mechanics.
- An Arsenal of Shiny New Guns! With double the amount of weapons found in Fallout 3, you'll have more than enough new and exciting ways to deal with the threats of the wasteland and the locals. In addition, Vault-Tec engineers have devised a new weapons configuration system that lets you tinker with your toys and see the modifications you make in real time.
- Let it Ride! In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone. Peacemaker or Hard Case, House Rules, or the Wild Card - it's all in how you play the game.

Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas is a fine game that will keep you occupied for many hours. Unlike the original Fallout, your decisions here have larger impact on your journey but it is still Fallout. There is something about wandering through wasteland and exploring all these places.

Excellent
Fallout New Vegas is definitely one of my favourite games. It has a capturing story in a very nice setting with many interesting characters. All in all it is a really good adventure, which will offer you many hours of playing fun.

Fallout fan
Just amazing. But you have to play number 1 first. FNV is as good as the first one and of course many different way to play it. 9/10 from me.

Pure entertainment for hours on end!
Those of you who have previously played Fallout 3 will feel right at home since Fallout: New Vegas is similar, in quite a few ways. The game feels more like an expansion to Fallout 3 than a new game. Even if you haven't played Fallout before this game is definitely worth playing! It is extremely addictive and will keep you entertained for hours and hours. There always seem to be new quests to complete and new places to explore. The VATS-shooting system (pause and choose where to shoot) is a great alternative to the real time FPS (or third person) shooting, especially if you're facing many enemies and want a more strategic way of battling. One thing that is a bit of a downer is that, once the main story is finished, you can't continue playing unless you reload an old save file. This massive RPG/FPS game is still AMAZING and has a lot of replay value. For this price, it is definitely a must-buy!

Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas is a game that shows us a post apocalyptic future. It is a FPS with rpg elements you can say its an FPRPG you play as a courier that goes in the Mohave desert to find who tried to kill him going through a lot of town and ending up in Vegas. The game is fun and has a lot of side quests that are interesting and can change the ending of the game. You can customise your weapons to make them more powerful to beat or blow your foes to bits with big rocket launchers or in some cases you can avoid combat with lies and deception. This game is great and im sure everyone that like FPS games and RPG's will love it i know i do.

Amazing Game
Having played the Original fallout 3 and oblivion games I was excited about this release, and I was not dissapointed ether. It is very similar in game play compared to fallout 3 but with more of everything. The weapons are vastly improved with the ability to upgrade a lot of them with scopes and other usefull gadgets. The companions are fun and provide more storylines for you to explore. This game is vast!!!!! There are a lot more quests than in the previous game, I still havent done half of them!!!! As with fall out 3 the graphics are great and there is an overall atmosphere that you dont get from any other game a mixture of dispare and hope! My only complaints are that the map is a little smaller than it looks compared to the previous fall out (though overall there is more to find and do so this doesnt really matter) and it crashes and freeze a lot more than the previous game which was a little annoying. Well worth buying!!! Overall I beleave this is one of the best games on the PS3.

No Fallout 3.
It is safe to say that 'Fallout 3' changed a lot of people lives, including my own, and therefore 'Fallout New Vegas' had a great deal of hype surrounding it. It sure did not disappoint. It's a game you can replay immediately after finishing and have a totally different experience, enjoying the adventure again and again, one of the many beauties of the Fallout games. The dialogue and characters are outstanding, to the point where you actually begin to feel not only friendship but raw hate towards certain characters. It also had somewhat of a stronger storyline than any of the other games of the Fallout series. But the bottom line is it just didn't have the same groundbreaking effect that 'Fallout 3' had. Still, it is a MUST for not only Fallout fans but RPG and escapist gamers.

Fallout New Vegas- Game of the Year
Fallout 3 stuns the player for its setting and the involvement that can be transmitted after a few hours of play. It 'a perfect point of view of style and a narrative plot, perhaps a bit' obvious to the general, but very pleasant for the many branches of history ensured by all the quests. It may not be remembered for technology implementations, but is undoubtedly a visual delight for the artistic ability to recreate a realistic world, credible and button where the player can roam freely without ending ever lost, set in a post-atomic chaos hitting it with a slap in the face and not let him in peace for dozens of hours of gameplay. Perhaps its nature can make it difficult for hard RPG less accustomed to this kind but, believe me, clench your teeth and get sucked in from Washington DC devastated: it will be worth while. strengths * Exceptional graphics * A perfect artistic level * Involvement at the highest levels * The component ruolistica is pleasant, immediate, high-impact weaknesses * Movement pesonaggi unwieldy and very fluid * The soundtrack is rather limited in quantity * Models and animations to forget (as above) * You will not have time to play with other
