Package arrived fairly fast. The plastic around the game was shedded abit but no harm came to the game! The game was very cheap and free shipping makes me love this site! (Though they really need to get more products)

A new, better looking installment in de disgaea series that beats the hell of of it's predecessor. It's still a unique experience and will please fans of the series and hopefully new players will get addicted to. If you are looking for one the best strategy rpgs out there, Disgaea is the game to play. Don't be afraid because people say it's hardcore, even I who started really bad enjoyed the games. My only complaint is the complexity at times and my lack of understanding to fine mechanics. Is it me having trouble understanding or could the game explain everything a bit better? Apart from this it's a wonderful game giving you an unbelievable amount of gameplay for the same price.

Disgaea at its best!

A vampire who eats sardines, his werewolf butler, a girl with a prinny hat due to lack of prinny hides, a final boss and Death Jr will be your party in this ridiculous, addicting, and fun installment of the Disgaea series. Definitely meant for people interested in the Japanese culture, has tonnes of Disgaea and J-culture references and downright cheesy humor with a great cast of characters. Would recommend to all Disgaea fans and to all people who are not afraid to pick up a turn based RPG. The graphics and animations in this game are absolutely gorgeous!

The best tactical RPG on PS3

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is a sequel that's not only better than Disgaea 3 (which was not so difficult, indeed), but it may even be considered the best Disgaea, even ahead of the first part. There are amazing improvements in all levels (graphics, text dialogues kids, intelligent humor, varied gameplay).

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is a really fun Turn based RPG. Plenty of different items to upgrade and level. Great depth with a lighthearted story and a great anime look to the graphics. You can level your character all the way to 9999 if you so wish!

Disgaea, Crazy but Addictive.

The use of 2D HD art is spectacular and is a very old school style. You get 300 hours PLUS with this game, this game is the one of the best Disgaea games yet! Comes with JP/ENG voice work, both are very well done! The story is ridiculous as always, but the gameplay is where Disgaea 4 shines! Crazy Numbers, Crazy Special Moves, Crazy Leveling, yes any character can be leveled up to 9999, its a game with endless replay value, pick it up NOW RPG FANS!

I picked Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, up in the sale, and I'm really glad I did. I've never played a Disgaea game before but I really enjoyed this one. After hearing all the talk about the large learning curves and how the game's not suitable for newcomers, I expected it to be rather difficult, but the game is actually quite simple. It takes you through some short tutorials then lets you try it and learn it for yourself. Levelling up your characters is a lot of fun and very rewarding. There are lots of classes to choose from and it's enjoyable making up your own team. The graphics are simple but really crisp, colourful and the special moves are fun to watch, the sprites are very clear, fairly detailed, and it looks nice in full HD. The story is a bit jokey without getting too serious, but it's easy to understand, light-hearted and there is a large cast of enemies and bosses for the game to throw at you. The gameplay itself is great - there's a lot of strategy and it's quite addicting. Each character has special moves and the chance to preform team attacks for extra damage depending on where they're standing. It's basically Final Fantasy tactics, but with more to do, and a simpler storyline and some crazy monster/hell/demon vibe going on. There's so much to do, it's crazy. One of the best things is its amount of content. You can create your characters, level up their moves, level up their stats, train up their weapons and explore the many variations of "monster-fusions" and "magichanges". If you're into strategy, RPG or strategy-RPG games, and you're the kind of player who likes to put a lot of time and effort into perfecting their games, then Disgaea 4 is the game for you.
