Zombie Heaven
This is an excellent game that build on the previous one. In many ways you could say its Dead Island 1.5 but honestly i concider it a totally new game. I loved the first one and certainly dont mind it being similar. Its a plus. I love the new character you can play in Riptide. The dialogues he say is hilarious and i had a blast playing him. He is a melee type that uses brass knuckles. Perfect combo! If you liked the first installment you will find plenty to like about Riptide. I can see myself playing this over and over. Its a REALLY good game for the price!

i have ordered this gamy some days ago from zavvi and like ever item's zavvi the ship was very very quickly. I'm an italian boy and i love this game for play with family and friends...sound effects are good and the resolution video is marvelous!

not as good as the first part of the saga... too much similar and not better neither longer. highly recomended to play in COOP mode on line. good relation quality price at this moment

Dead Island 1.5
I would see this game as an expansion to the first Dead island. Could be a good thing to some but a bad thing to others as the majority of players would expect something different to the original. Recommended only if you enjoyed the first, but definitely not at full RRP. Everyone else, there are definitely better First person perspective games out there.

Disappointing.
Dead Island: Riptide seems like a downgrade from the original. There's no major improvements and the story is predictable. There's less locations than the original and worse map designs. It also has just as many glitches as the original game and still freezes once very 2-3 hours of game time. Overall, the game just seems rushed.

Dead Island: Riptide (Pre-order DLC: The Survivor Pack) is an amazing game. It's just as good as the first. I would recommend it.
