Awesome game
4Fantastic game by the spanish company MercurySteam, if you didn't play it three years ago don't hesitate and purchase it right now. If you like games like God of War, Darksiders or Dante's Inferno you won't be disappointed. Great story and shocking twist at the end :)

Oh my God!
5A little review of Castlevania : Lords of Shadows. So I've been playing this game for about 2-3 weeks now. Since I'm playing all my games on the most difficult level available that was the scenario I had in mind with Castlevania. But no, wait! Three chapters into the game and it was definitely too much too handle. The story is great and graphics are amazing. What I love about this game is the complexity of moves. Because you start with a set of default moves and unlock more advanced moves throughout the game. You can't just keep going forward without mastering most or all moves at your disposal. After mastering every move your preety much a killing machine for demons, vampires and other creatures of the night. In conclusion, it's a preety sweet deal. Steelbook edition with two DLC-s and a HD game from PSP. Preety much a no-brainer in terms of buying. Definitely would recommend!

Lords of Steelbook
4This is one great steelbook! It really is. I love the artwork, I love the relief in the title on the front. Also it comes with a nice printed plastic sleeve. The game was wrapped in a sturdy cardboard box, and covered in foam wrap to keep it safe. A downside of the product is that only the base game of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is on the disc. The DLC, Mirror of Fate and the Lords of Shadow 2 demo are all digital downloads. But this steelbook will look good in your collection!

Amazing Game!!
5I bought this in prep for the second one, the demo of which I played at Comic-Con, and Jesus I'm so glad I did!! This has become one of my favourite games already! I would highly recommend this to anyone into video games and who just wants good puzzles, a great storyline and a phenomenal time!

Great product
5The games itself for those who haven't played is a a mix of heavy combat and platform/exploration. With the combat you learn various move sets and build upon these with light and dark magic to unleash devastating combos and move sets. There are plenty of boss battles, some requiring a bit of strategy to over come and a whole host of supernatural.enemies to encounter. The story itself is well written with convincing voice acting from patrick stewart and robert carlisle, and acts as a prequel to the series and an understanding of how betrayel leads the protagonist on a path of damnation. The dlc included can be played after the main story line and is quite challenging too and is best for those who have mastered the games combat

Good, but not exactly worth it.
3Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, back when it first came out was an amazing game. Telling the story of the very first Belmont's dark fall into evil - a few months after it's release Mercurysteam released a couple of DLC chapters to properly explain the end of the game - these two chapters are not bundled on the disc but are contained in a download code along with the sub-par Mirror of Fate HD. Maybe on the 3DS Mirror of Fate was a good standard, but the character movements, the models and gameplay have been largely untouched. I could maybe recommend this to Castlevania fans if all this content was truly "collected" onto the disc, but as it stands, this isn't a collection. It's the vanilla game with a code to download the rest of the content. All your paying for here is the beautiful steelbook, if you have the original release, just download the other content from PSN - it's essentially the same thing if you don't have the original release, then this could be construed as a good deal.

Great game - lush steelbook
4This game is incredibly fun and fairly long (if you want a challenge). As for the actual steel book - it is lovely and comes with a protective mastic slipcase, my only criticism is that the additional content is on a code and not on the disc but hat's Konami's decision so... check out my vid on YouTube for more - channel name: SteelAngelVikki

Castlevania at the best
5the steelbook edition of castlevania is worth your money, the steelbook is beautiful, the 2DLC concluded, mirror of fate HD included, and a Demo of Castlevania 2, what else do you need more..................... if you like or fan of castlvania, buy it...................
