Madness Returns
4After the original American McGee's Alice, this game had a lot to live up to. The gameplay feels as good as its predecessor and is very easy to get into. Once you have started playing you are enveloped by the story and the graphics. I am still currently playing the game and I'm finding it hard to put down. Bundle in the advantage of being able to download the previous game in HD, you are getting value for money and a lot of hours of gameplay. If you are a fan of American McGee's work, Alice: Madness Returns is a must to add to your collection.

Worth the Wait!
5I've been debating on wherever to get this game or not as the trailer looked fantastic but I wanted to wait until the price dropped a bit. Now I got it I've got to say...... so far so good Fantastic! If your a Alice in wonderland fan and you like the mild horror, mystery games then grab it. I was even surprised to see my copy came with an original American McGee's Alice download so two games for the price of one in my opinion! If you like the trailer then don't hesitate!

5Having experienced a horrific fire Alice has retreated into her fantasy world of Wonderland but her experiences have warped and twisted it into a place of weirdness and danger. The graphics are brilliant and capture the feel of her world perfectly and there are a number of new characters, while the familiar ones are rendered with imagination and wit. The Madness Returs comes with a free download of the classic Alice from 11 years ago. It is beginning to show its age so you might want to get straight into the Madness Returns, if so a quick check on the net for the back story might be of help otherwise I'd save the original for a rainy day. Only one slight moan. It takes a little to long to come back after you 'die' but at least you get to come back. Overall it's one of the best games out this year.

Alice: Madness Returns
4A fantastic version of Alice in wonderland. The set pieces are weird and wonderful as are the many characters and enemies you meet along the way. The controls are easy to pick up and gameplay is very fun. The weapons are strangely fun to use ranging from the vorpal blade and pepper grinder to mushroom bombs. The use of the shrinking ability is very enjoyable and is needed to find hidden/secret items and to uncover secret paths to help you progress. There are a few glitches within the game, some more noticeable than others but with an update these can be easily corrected. But this aside the game as a whole is very enjoyable,watching the story unfold and going through wonderland meeting all the weird and wonderful characters is great fun. If your a fan of Alice in wonderland or not this is a great game to get in to.
