Very Good
4The game is very good, and well worth the price. It does have issues, for example the UI having no thought to its use on PC. Overall however, it is a very good game, though be warned it's still a bit buggy, for example getting stuck in a conversation still occurs but there is a way out by holding shift and clicking exit.

5After accumulating an extensive play-time on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion over the years, the bar for the Skyrim was set high, I was expecting great things from Bethesda for the long awaited instalment that is Skyrim. But let me tell you, I was not at ALL disappointed! Every feature that is different from Oblivion seems to be an improvement in my eyes. The level system is definitely a brilliant improvement, gone are the days of long deliberation over which of the many attributes to increase that govern the huge amount of skills, no, now we are introduced a new 'perk' system. Much like Bethesda's own Fallout 3/New Vegas, when you level up; which is done by increasing your individual skill levels, you are presented with a constellation-like map of perks, arranged into their skill 'trees'. Most of them really are particularly useful and contribute to a much more individualistic style of play. The graphics, while not as impressive as games such as Battlefield 3 (although not really comparable), are very good. The shadows and lighting are extremely realistic and the landscape is simply breathtaking. A very fresh new scene after years of enduring the boring rolling green hills of Cyrodil. The combat is more fluid, and the way that spells are used is much better! You can now equip two weapons, or two spells and you can even combine two different destruction spells (one on each hand) one you have unlocked the perk to allow it. However, by far the best part is the main quest line, and the whole back story. Incredibly immersive and well lets face it - what could be more awesome than dragons!? You will find yourself much more engaged than in Oblivion; there is a great deal more action and excitement and some really, really cool quests. And of course, in grand Bethesda style, there is a staggering amount of content, literally ridiculous amounts of side-quests and objectives and hundreds and hundreds of ruins, dungeons, shrines, camps and encounters for you to sink your teeth in. So if you're looking for a game that you can be playing for years to come, and even a game that you can dip in and out of, then Skyrim is for YOU, Dovahkiin!

5Skyrim is definitely up there with games such as Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 for "Game Of The Year". Absolutely superb!

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
5After waiting many years for the next game in the elder scrolls series. I was happy to here that this game was being made and it doesn't disappoint. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are top notch. The story is gripping and I have not got board of it yet. There are plenty of side quests which is good as you will want to explore the whole world to find them all.
