5If you play The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion, you will appreciate Skyrim, it's much better. graphics and immersion are great. A must HAVE !

Skyrim - The Elder Scrolls V
5I only got round to buying The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim very recently, so I've not had time to play it much, although I've now become totally hooked! The graphics are just incredible, highly detailed and have to be seen to be believed. As a 'veteran' PC adventure and RPG player I can safely say that this is without a doubt the best game Elder Scrolls game yet from Bethesda, having played Oblivion and Morrowind before this. I've also recently finished Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3, also by Bethesda, and I thought they were graphically amazing too, but I now think Skyrim just has the edge on them! Add to the quality of the graphics a new puzzle element a'la Tomb Raider and more interesting and varied locations and you have here a must buy game. Obviously your PC must be up to spec to run it smoothly! I have a Gigabyte mainboard with an Intel dual Core 2.8 GHz and a Sapphire ATI HD5670 512MB graphics card, and I can play the game on the high settings. It runs smoothly on the whole. Oh, did I mention your character gets to fight dragons?!

5I have The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Xbox but getting it on thePC is so worth it. The game in itself is obviously brilliant. Definitely a must have.

Superb Game!
5Despite this being a continuation of the Elder Scrolls series, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim feels like a brand new game and is easy to get into. People shouldn't be put off by the lack of guns and the focus on magic, Skyrim offers a decent number of spells, swords and bows for players to hack and slash their way through caves, castles and the vast open grounds of Skyrim. There are a huge number of skills to upgrade throughout the game, and some will be more useful than others depending on the way you want to play the game. The difficulty settings are well balanced, so even the newest of PC gamers can get straight into the action and the settings can be changed at any time throughout the game to make it harder or easier. Controls are the standard WASD, but seemingly don't support the Razer Naga mouse and it picked up the Xbox controller straight away (which is annoying). The game is supported by Steam, which hosts 1000's of different mods and downloads. Players can add homes, weapons or even entire villages to their Skyrim map, which makes the game that little bit more bigger and more exciting.

5I purchased Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim after playing the great Oblivion, and it's much better. If you enjoyed Oblivion then you will love this! And it's got dragons.
