Character customisation of course plays a major part in this MMORPG, and there are seven character races, each with their own different culture and history, to choose from, as well as eight classes to pick from. The races are Aman, Baraka, Castanic, Elin, High Elf, Human, and Popori, each with their own race-specific strengths and weakness. The eight classes are Archer (ranged damage class), Berserker (melee damage class), Lancer (blocking tank), Mystic (support healer class), Priest (primary healer class), Sorcerer (ranged magic damage class), Slayer (melee damage class), and Warrior (evasive tank/melee damage class), each varying in the skill required to master them, as well as possessing class-specific characteristics.
Experience true action combat, where instead of the traditional point and click fighting style, TERA forces players to rely on their own skill, where position, timing, and aim of attacks determine how successful you are in battle. You and your enemy will constantly be on the move during a fight, both making full use of your evasive and dodging capabilities, challenging you to keep a steady hand and aim straight and true. Traverse through the beautiful and visually enthralling world of Tera, with many diverse terrain and landscapes to discover and journey through, made all the more enchanting with the cutting-edge graphics powered by Unreal Engine 3.
Politics also plays an intriguing part within TERA, where the player-driven political system allows each and every individual player to run for election, and inevitably influence the overall world. A player can choose a province or continent, and make a move to take over the mantle of either a Vanarch, the ruler of a province, or Exarch, the ruler of a continent. Should they succeed, the player will be granted with prestige, glory, and power. Alongside politics, other social features within this spectacular MMORPG include an advanced guild system, auction house, mounts, achievements, and so much more, meaning you could willingly be lost within the incredible world of TERA forever. Great Game
Tera is a great game and a received my product from Zavvi in a timely fashion. This game is an MMORPG, there is an online subscription fee like world of Warcraft, the billing currently is in Euros with no option for £'s. The reason why this is a great game is simply because of the combat it uses a skill based system where you aim at what you want to hit you build up a resource called MP and then use that to offload your spells or melee actions. This would have gotten 5 stars however I would like to pay monthly in £'s and I can't. Secondly I am concerned that content has been withheld by frogster for the end game, things like levelling crafting from about midway through the levels is not possible right now. It is worth a purchase for those on the fence to see if you like the combat system any further than that is up to the gamer.

A wonderfully realised world with an impeccably presented range of races and classes. Whether you chose an Aman or Elin, the true action combat you'll experience is unique - an evolutionary experience in the world of MMO. It's a lovely world with an adventure that will engage you for many a time to come and I can do nothing more than encourage you to join the world of Tera and be thrilled as I have been.
