Mafia 2
Good fun. Not as in depth as some similar games, such as GTA etc., but good for blast around.

Mafia II
Mafia II gives us incredible ,,time trevel"expirience to the 50's and the world of Mafia. If you like this period (music,cars.....)you definitly want regret playing this game.Amazing game with interesting story.Unfortunately I cannot shake the filling that the end of the game was lack of ideas and intention to make another part of the game.....Also I wasn't very happy with the fact that you only interact with some characters once and after that it's like they don't exist any more....That's my expirience with the game.....But definitly worth playing ;)

Excellent
Hello, Mafia 2 is cutting edge graphics, gameplay, physx and overall style of of a game. You can still stall an engine, have to refuel your cars, chased by police for speeding and holding a gun, get speeding tickets, flush toilets, get him drunk, buy clothes Etc. There is a massive list for this game that you can do. The graphics are amazing, you do need a pretty good machine to run this game on full specs. The gameplay and mission wise are truely amazing. There are a load of missions for you to complete and they've released DLC (Downloadable Content) and another one coming out soon, which also adds more missions and hole new style to the game. The game is truely amazing. I love the game, and cannot get enough of it. There are some bad points though. Like, you cannot shoot when driving, there is no country side, the map isn't that big, your limited to location. It's little things like that which let the game down, and that's why it doesn't diserve the full stars. If you love the first Mafia, then you'll love this. It's got great character storie's, great scene's to enjoy and the cinematics when your doing a mission are amazing. Like at one point your doing a mission, and you see a cat jump off the floor to a window ledge, and the way it moves... looks life like. Amazing! Overall the game is a worth buy and that price. Why not.

First was better
You can flush the toilet, turn on taps and open windows. These are just a few of the pointless things in Mafia 2 that you can do. The graphics are some of the best you will see, but there seem to be more effort in what the game looks like, that anything else. Anyone that has played the first Mafia will remember the deep story line, the rise from simple cabbie to high up in the family. The story in Mafia 2 is very thin, you don't really know that much about the characters to really care what happens to them. The game is very short, when things really get going it comes to an end. Apart from the main story, there are side jobs you can do, but they serve no purpose, the need for money in the game never really shows, so what's the point in stealing a car and selling it? Overall if you could mix the engine and graphics of this game with the story and characters of the first, then you would the best Mafia game ever made.

The story of a mobster
Mafia 2 brings you the story of a rising mobster called Vito Scaletta , the son of a sicilian imigrants. Game is set in the 1940s and 1950s.First mission you play as a world war 2 soldier trying to liberate Sicily from the fascist. Then after getting injured there you head back to New York when you start to work with your friend Joe for the mafia.Story is set in the large open world with many shops where you can buy food, lots of 1950s style clothes, guns, even you can fill your cars tank with fuel. But aside of the misson there arent many things you can do. You can make your own fun like robbing stores, rampage innocent citizens, shotting with the cops and my favourite collecting playboy magazines.Graphics of the game are pretty good and detailed. With the nvidia PHYSX engine they even make the game more realistic. So overall mafia 2 is a excelent sequel to the original game which brings you 15 hours of exciting gameplay and story which makes you want to play more. So i recommend this game for anyone who like to play open world action games with excelent story
