As a Whole
5The game runs perfectly and is full of fun and adventure. A lot of content, so you have plenty to do. My favourite part is all of it to be honest. I've been playing it since the beta and its been an epic adventure for me. *Note* Playing Guild Wars 1 will be needed for extra benefits for Guild Wars 2. You may need knowledge of the first to properly understand this game.

Collector's Edition (with unboxing video!)
5All I can really say is that it definitely mind blowing, and I would recommend it to anyone. The world exploration content keeps me going, as I have played too many hours for my own good! All I can say is that every aspect of the game for both PvE and PvP are awesome, so don't mess around - buy the game!

5Excellent buy, and I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality of the items is very high and the tin especially is very nice. The game itself is very good of what I have played of it so far, up to or over the standard of other games in the genre, and without subscription fees as well.

Revitalising the MMO
5Guild Wars 2 takes the core ideas of the MMO and plays around with them to find a radical new way forward for this genre, while the initial learning curve may have a few bumps (lack of help with regard to how to quest or what to do next) the combat system is great and plays more like an action RPG but a very dynamic one. The size and scope of this game have to be experienced, while you may feel at times like you should just grab a horse (for all the walking you do) everything is not too far away once you visit the local way points. In a way it reminds us why we want to run around in worlds rather than fly over them, you get to experience the at times beautiful areas from all sorts of viewpoints as you explore every little cave and scale cliffs trying to get another vista unlocked. Yes there are initial issues with the release, no game is perfect it seems, but they don't detract anything that cannot be fixed within a few days. The only thing that worries me is lack of raids/end game content, but with new content sooner or later I'm sure this game will expand massively. If you wanted to play an MMO but you can't afford to keep a subscription running this is your game, 110% can it be recommended for that, if you like your PvP it also rates highly. For those that love exploring you'll spend days trying to complete some of the jumping puzzles and explore every last area, there really is something that will hook everyone.

Best MMO I have ever played.
5I've played quite a few MMOs, Aion, Rift, World of Warcraft, Silk Road etc. And while I am a big fan of the first. Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition is brilliant. The art is lovely to look at and comes in its own frame to either be on your desk or on a wall. The sample CD of 6 of the main themes you hear in Guild wars 2 is inside as well. The book inside details several things about Guild Wars 2 including the development of the game. There are thoughts, feelings and also lots of little tid bits that people from the old Guild Wars would love to read. All of this is contained in the box within the picture, it's a part of my decoration as well as the figurine. If you are wondering if you should buy the game. You buy it once and it's yours for good, wit no subscription fees. The enviroment and depth of this game alone makes it a worthwhile purchase.

GW2 Game Review
5I played Guild Wars 2 on the beta weekends but never gave it much attention or played much, so I did not spoil the game. Once headstart came and it was all real from then on, I made myself a warrior and payed full attention to the events and world. Guild Wars 2 is a very fun and open game with no quests, but there's events to complete and tasks, these events are random and there can be multiple events in the same area depending on the ones previously. PVE is a very fun game to play with friends. The game is not a grind and lets you have freedom on where you go and what you do next. The personal story is very fun to play with great voice acting and cut scenes with actual choices that will affect you're story and game throughout. So far in PVP mode I've played about 6 battlegrounds, they are fast paced and fun with cannons and capture points and it all seems well balanced. WvWvW - this is where PVP and endgame will shine. There are massive castles in 4 huge maps and 24/7 fighting with hundreds of people.

5Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition was my first purchase from Zavvi. I'm very impressed with the item! The packaging was great and I will definitely order from them again.
