XL1 TB headset - PERFECT
The TB XL1 headset is a looker, built well (don't let the plastic fool you) and comes in two colours, white or black (I got the black ones). They come with simple instructions manual, and it's pretty basic for anyone out there. Once hooked up to your Xbox or TV, you will be blown away from the clarity of the chat voices (as well as your own) and the audio. Reaching full volume with these is not possible! They are LOUD! Stereo sound means you will know right from left no problem, and I think it's safe to say it will improve your gaming skills, it did to me. I got these and not the XLa, because the latter have smaller speaker cups, and flat ones, which I'm sure don't help in long sessions. If you think about getting the XL1, do it, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Brilliant
My grandson was well pleased with this headset much better quality than his previous one. He says he can hear clearly and most importantly they are comfortable to wear.

Beachy
I purchased a pair of these great headphones so that I could have a decent level of in game sound. They are a great piece of kit . The sound quality is wonderful, you can hear which direction gunshot or footsteps are coming from. They have a good base response whilst keeping the mid & top ranges clear. Adding the DSS 7.1 processor would probably heighten the surround sound, but that's more money. You definitely get a great pair of headphones for the price. Would recommend to anybody looking lower priced pair of headphones that do the job no qualms!!!...

Turtle Beach Ear Force XL1
An amazing piece of equipment best part of the headset is, that I can put the cables into the Xbox Scart plug in the TV, and can turn off the volume on the TV and still hear everything, including the game, through the headset. One thing my pals are telling me, is a slight buzzing coming through their headsets when I speak, but I think that is normal.
