Awesome
5This game is one of the best story telling games ever made. Djazaak allahu khair for releasing this on the 3DS, interactive books with quality like these really fill me with pleasure and excitement.

A great game!
5I'm really enjoying Virtue's Last Reward. The story and the characters are well done and the game play is nice. The puzzles are hard and the "novel part" is amazing!

Virtue's Last Reward
5With an overwhelming plot and a great number of mentally stimulating puzzles, Virtues Last Reward is definitely a step up over 999. If you want 30 hours of mind-blowing fun, take this game.

Zero does it again
5Virtue's Last Reward is a brilliant sequel to an outstanding adventure/puzzle game. This time, you play as a young man called Sigma, who along with 8 other people is forced to play yet another Nonary Game set up by Zero. The rules in this one are slightly different - in order to escape, players are required to get 9 bracelet points (BP), which can be acquired or lost by allying with or betraying others. Failure is less "messy" than in the prequel, but just as deadly - instead of getting blown up, loser takes a lethal injection. The 3D graphics are nice, music is very atmospheric, controls are intuitive and smooth, plus the voice acting is well done. I was worried about some of the changes (namely VA and no more hand-drawn 2D environments), but they turned out to have no negative impact on the game's atmosphere. Compared to the original game, the number of possible endings grew from 6 to a mind-blowing 24 - you can easily sink 50+ hours trying to get the ones you want. Virtue's Last Reward sheds light on some of the events from 999 (which I highly recommend playing, if you haven't done so already). If you have a 3DS (or a vita), you can't pass on this game.
