Dead or Alive Dimensions is the latest chapter in the Dead or Alive series of 3D fighting games. It is a strategic fighting game where a range of characters battle in 3D arenas, using a mix of fighting moves. This is the first time that a Dead or Alive fighting game has been available on a portable system, and also first time on a Nintendo platform.
Enjoy the complete storyline of the DOA series, with a new Chronicle Mode that retells the entire saga, with new exclusive parts of the story which solve previously unexplained mysteries.
This is a 3D fighting game, which means that the two opposing characters can move into the background or the foreground with specific commands, hence turn around each other and attack from the sides and from the back; the action does not take place along a flat "2D plane".
The stages where the battles take place can be interacted with. For example you can throw opponents through walls or break into new areas during the fight.
The player can fight CPU or human controlled opponents in a series of matches, depleting the Life gauge of the opponent is the required condition to win each match. The range of characters include beautiful women and zany personalities. New to the Nintendo 3DS game are fully autostereoscopic 3D visuals, enhanced online functionalities, StreetPass functionalities and the possibility of executing combos by selecting them from a list on the Touch Screen.

Great DOA with little flaws
This DOA is fast, graphically stunning (albeit Xbox maps were superior) and sexy. I have only two little complaints: Chronicle Mode is a tad easy, and it's a tutorial for 4/5 Chapters. I appreciated that because it's good for newcomers, but it drags too long, and the story, while making more sense than usual this time, it isn't anything groundbreaking, and left me still confused. Secondly, Tag challenges are BAD. They have a plain dumb health regen system, forcing the IA Assist to take over you if you have less than 50% health, and when you re-enter, you're exposed for various seconds to enemy attacks. If you get to mission 20 and pass it, you are lucky. Online it works, but I didn't bother with it too much, I'm more of a single player guy, and this has very little interesting extra contents, if you're not into Costumes or take pictures at Figures. So is it good? YES! But only for 9£, nothing more. Single player has pretty little to offer other than what did Dead or Alive 3 or Ultimate.

Where the heck is the 3D?
Try out the demo of Dead or Alive: Dimensions before buying it. I enjoyed it as the storyline continued but after it was finished I don't remember touching the game again (and I didn't even listen to the story). If you are a hardcore Dead Or Alive fan, then go and buy this, if not try out the demo first and then decide.

Awesome Game
Dead or Alive: Dimensions is frankly a decent game out. Another absolute hit in the treasury of Nintendo 3DS, which is still growing in popularity among gamers. Nintendo has always known that, as the king makes his entourage, and the console make it play. DoA: D not one of those games that you can get in one go and forget, as happens with many of the genre. After one pass, it causes a spike in interest and relentless desire to continue playing. Over a quarter of hundreds of characters, each with their own style of martial arts, a brilliant combat system that opened the "chips" and gorgeous graphics - all the ingredients for success Dimensions. Really, even if the storyline mode Chronicles would be as good as the other elements, the prices would not have this game. Yeah already got the distinct: Team Ninja has demonstrated that, as before, their team is worthy of the utmost respect.

Absolute bliss
Dead or Alive: Dimensions for the 3DS is the perfect fighting game for beginners, amateurs and experts! Absolutely seamless game play at 60 fps in 2D and 30 fps in 3D. So easy to play and so easy to love. An addicting true fighter, without any fireballs, that is well worth any amount of money!

Dead or Alive: Dimensions (3DS)
This game is the best fighting game for the Nintendo 3ds. You can get 999 figure which take a lot of time to get all. Have survived more vs 100, fight vs strongest characters which they have more lives. The online mode is great, I haven't lagged so its funny play online. It was a great deal.
