BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II (3DS)

BlazBlue Continuum Shift II is the second instalment of the franchise, exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS system. It comes with all the exciting fighting systems of the major titles. Plus that, this title includes all the characters that come in DLC for the previous version - Makoto Nanaya, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing and Platinum the Trinity, Mu-112 character available from the beginning, a brand new anime style opening video and two new play modes, Legion 1.5 in which you can make your own army to beat the game and the Abyss mode - a customizable survival mode of 500 challenges that will push yourself to the limit. It also includes a brand new art gallery and Story modes for the DLC characters. The only bad thing is that the game doesn't allow you to play online, but for the rest, it is a very good port of the original game. Just play it and see it for yourself.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II is such a remarkable game for the 3DS. The Animation in game is good for the story, and also Intro Animation with the theme song is wonderful. I have been playing on this over a week now and I'm still not even slightly bored playing this. If people say get the PSP version because of better controls then please don't listen, as it's completely the same. But it's your choice which console you would like to have it for. Also, the 3D is good but it's only for the background, but I'm not fussy. It's worth this price people, and an absolute bargain on Zavvi.com compared to anywhere else. At least I know I have not wasted money on such a great game... Best buy this year so far, and I'll definitely be buying more from this site in the future. Truly deserve 5/5 Stars

Must have for old school fighter fans with a 3DS.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II 3DS is a port of the 2D anime-styled fighting game BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. It contains the DLC characters and costumes. There is a balanced and wide selection of characters. All of them being unique and pretty fun to play. There are a ton of gameplay modes, which definitely give the player something to do. Story, characters, and battles modes are all amazing. There is unlockable art and costumes as well. (More than 50 hours to unlock all). On the other hand, it only supports local multiplayer and the only controller scheme is to use the d-pad for character movement and menu selection. Finally, the 3D effect looks good, but everything else from the main menus to the actual sprites are actually really hazy and blurry. If you like 2D fighting games BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II is a good purchase for your Nintendo 3DS.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II (3DS)

This is a great portable game if you like to be a "lazy player". You should get the PSP version if you have one. I believe the controls will be better than they are on the 3DS.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II (3DS)

Definitely worth checking out, I would say. It does lose out a bit in the graphics department with some tweaks to the characters and stages, which are now mostly static and 2D and some detail is lost in the character sprites but otherwise they're still all there. I'm still astounded with all the voices in both English and Japanese still being there along with all the stories for everyone and all the anime cutscenes and stuff, which is very much amazing. I'd say this game is definitely worth picking up anyhow.
