This native 16:9 aspect ratio means your videos will display without black bars at the top and bottom of the picture and without a loss in quality which comes from scaling and altering an image for a different screen size.
Dual screens enable you to display the same videos or images from the portable DVD player. Just plug in and mount the screens on the headrests in your car to watch your favourite DVD movies or view your JPEG photos with friends and family in the back seats.
Compatible with most DVD and CD discs, the Philips Portable DVD Player can play: DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, (S)VCD and CD. It can also play MP3 discs for storing up to 10 hours of music on a single CD. The DVD-Video player will remember where you last stopped watching when powered off directly or if it runs out of power mid-way through a film. Philips PD7022/05 7 Inch Dual Screen DVD Player
Picked this up for the lowest price I've ever seen it as. For that money it is exceptional value. Kids are kept entertained on long journeys. Only downside is the trailing leads between screens. And the inevitable squabbles over which film to watch next. Recommended.
