Great Buy

This turntable is well worth the money. It's compact and easy to set up. The only downsides are that it only plays at 33 RPM, and also the built-in speaker is very quiet, but you can plug it into speakers with an RCA to 3.5mm jack cable which cost around £1 from various websites across the internet. All in all it is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone.

Ok for the price

Very simple and easy to use piece of kit. Only two slight downsides - both of which can be overcome, but still a pain. First off the device doesn't play at 45 RPM, other reviews indicated that it did, but this particualr model only plays at one speed. Secondly, the speed it plays at isn't 33 RPM, I'd estimate it somewhere around 38 RPM. Both these 'features' can be overcome by recording into the supplied software, 'audacity' and then adjusting the speed to fit the required speed - this can be a bit hit and miss and slightly time consuming. (I'd recommended experiment with a small sample before adjusting an entire track or even side of an LP.) I'll put it in the 'not bad' category - it's easier than hooking up my stereo to my computer and it is quite compact, so it fits easily onto my desk - one other slight downside is the amount of abuse that the arm and needle receive - possibly down to me being clumsy, but not help by having no control over the arm.
