Sex and Drungs and Blood
5Each season seems to get better. Plenty of sex, blood, violence and great characters. This is a must view series. The only criticism I have is that everyone seems to be supernatural in some way.

True Blood - Season 3
5If you have loved True Blood so far then you will love Season 3, as it follows on in spectacular fashion from 1 and 2! The series' seem to be growing further and further away from the books, and only a few elements remain the same in Season 3, unlike Season 1 which had many more direct quotes and scenes. However, if you can treat the books as something seperate then this is one fantastic series. As we've grown accustomed to in the previous series' of True Blood, there's a lot of sex and a lot of blood and violence - but all done in a way somehow essential to the story and the viewing experience. You should enjoy Eric this season, some excellent moments in true Eric style that will have you laughing and admiring him - Alexander Skarsgaard does brilliantly this season with his increased role in the story - I am never averse to seeing more of him! Anna Paquin as Sookie performs well again as our lead, and we see her delving into a new world she doesn't quite understand. It all gets more mysterious and complicated from here on in I think, so we all better be waiting for in depth new plotlines. I felt that I disliked Sam more this season - his character goes through a lot of changes that you don't get in the book - he seems to play an entirely different character altogether, and I'm not sure I really like that. However the acting is great and you can't deny him that - the character he has is played very well. You will dislike Bill more this season as well - a few truths are exposed and some pretty shocking behaviour on his part may make you turn against him! By the end a certain redemption is there but not so much!! I was left very much on Team Eric ;) but I'm not certain how other viewers will take it. With a much more in-depth insight into werewolves and shifters and a pretty nasty plot in store for Tara, there's a lot more going on in Season 3, and you're sure to be gripped if you're already a fan. For those of you forced to watch it - girls have Jason, Sam, Bill, Eric, Alcide AND MORE to be looking at, and boys have Sookie, Tara, Jessica AND MORE also, so there's always some eye candy to get you through the hour!! I still defy you to watch a few episodes and not be hooked though ;) Overall this series became more complex and in-depth than the last two as it involved a lot more characters and storylines, but this wasn't to its detriment! Though a far cry from the book, Club Dead, it's still excellent vampire-werewolf-shifter-fairy-you-name-it action that'll have you on the edge of your seat.

True Blood Season 3
5Have loved all the seasons, number 3 is no exception. So well written, I can hardly wait for more seasons.

Disappointing and unusual
3The best thing about this series is El Sid. I was quite disappointed with the storyline this season and the revelation about Sookie is very odd. Watchable as usual and great characters but not sure where the next series is heading.
