"The Twilight Saga: The Story So Far" brings you the first three legendary films in this movie series, based on the world renowned books of the same name written by Stephenie Meyer.
Twilight:
The first film in this saga is "Twilight", and stars Kristen Stewart (Adventureland, The Runaways) as the protagonist Bella Swan. Bella is a seventeen year old girl who moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, a small rainy town in Washington, DC. to live with her father after her mother moves away with her new husband.
Whilst struggling with the depressing rain and having to start all over in a new school, Bella meets Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson - Remember Me, Water For Elephants). Edward's odd behaviour, and equally mysterious and beautiful family, intrigue Bella, who believes there is definitely something more than meets the eye with The Cullens.
After strange things start happening in Forks, Bella does some research and one thing becomes abundently clear: Edward Cullen, and his family, are vampires. Despite the danger she knows she's putting herself in, Bella can't help but fall in love with him, risking everything in the process, including her life.
New Moon:
The second film in this series is "New Moon", which follows on from "Twilight" and depicts the love that Bella and Edward share. However, following a normal household accident which ends with a member of Edward's family nearly takes Bella's life, Edward decides that for her safety, he has to leave her.
Distraught and heart broken, Bella finds comfort in the friendship of Native American Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner - Abduction, Valentine's Day), the son of her father's friend Billy. Whilst Jacob tries to help Bella through her heartbreak, he ends up falling in love with her, and struggles with the enormous task of keeping his secret safe from her: that he, and his friends, are werewolves.
Believing Bella to be dead after a misconstrued phone call, Edward travels to Italy to try and kill himself through the power of The Volturi, the vampire royalty that live there. Aware of this news, Bella and Edward's sister Alice race cross country in order to stop him, but will they reach him in time?
Eclipse:
The third film "Eclipse" throws Bella in the heat of danger once again, as it becomes clear that she is being hunted by a vampire called Victoria. This targeting is through her desire for revenge, as Edward killed her lover in order to protect Bella, and she believes an eye for an eye is deserved.
In order to protect Bella, the Cullens and the Wolf pack join in arms, as Victoria is leading an army of newborn vampires, who are notorious for being incredibly strong and filled with blood lust, even by vampire standards.
On the other side of this situation, new difficulties arise when Jacob confesses to Bella that he is in love with her, and she realises that she is in love with him too. However she loves Edward more, and chooses to accept his marriage proposal, much to Jacob's dismay.
The Volturi arrive at Forks to stop the newborns, to find that the Cullens and the Wolf pack have already defeated them, and threaten the Cullens for allowing Bella to remain human. The Cullens inform them that the date for her transformation to a vampire has already been set, and Bella will not remain human for much longer...
