The Pink Panther
When a suave jewel thief (Niven) sets out to rob a princess (Claudia Cardinale) of both her heart and her priceless diamond, the Pink Panther, Clouseau falls all over himself - literally - to try to prevent the crime.
A Shot in the Dark
The French have a word for a man like Clouseau: idiot! Across Paris, baffled citizens want to know if the Inspector is in hot pursuit of a criminal ...or just in love with one! Mistakenly assigned to a high-prestige case in which a millionaire's chauffer has been murdered, Clouseau finds himself falling (literally) for the prime suspect - a beautiful parlormaid (Elke Sommer) whose talent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time is almost as great as his. But as the body count grows higher, and the parlormaid's criminal record grows longer, Clouseau realises he'll have to find the 'real' culprit quickly - or his career will be finit!

Driven mad by Clouseau's incompetence, Dreyfus commandeers a doomsday device and threatens global destruction. His only demand? Clouseau's death. The world community's response? 'No problem!' But Clouseau's dumb luck serves him so well that the 26 assassins hired to kill him can't manage - though he may do the trick himself by tripping over his own two feet!
Revenge of The Pink Panther
The world believes that Clouseau (Sellers) has become the victim of Douvier (Robert Webber), a drug lord who has just blown the hapless inspector's home into a million pieces. At the funeral, Inspector Dreyfus (Herbert Lom) performs the eulogy with tears in his eyes - from attempting to suppress his happiness!
But it's Clouseau who has the last laugh. Very much alive, he has headed for Hong Kong with the drug lord's discarded mistress (Dyan Cannon) to investigate Douvier and a heroin deal worth 50 million francs. But can Clouseau, disguised as the Godfather, intercept the deal? Will Inspector Dreyfus, who's also on the case, see past the disguise in time to avoid killing his subordinate...or will he just kill him anyway?

Co-starring Panther alumni David Niven, Herbert Lom, Capucine and Burt Kwouk and newcomers Richard Mulligan , Joanna Lumley and Harvey Korman, Trail of the Pink Panther is the surest path to unbridled laughter! When Clouseau's plane is reported missing, his equally clumsy, long-suffering nemesis Dreyfus has an odd way of grieving: He simply can't stop laughing!
But when a reporter attempts to memorialise the crime-fighting hero,Dreyfus suddenly finds himself in the spotlight. Can he learn to say something charitable about Clouseau? Can he do it with a straight face...or will he simply fall flat on his face? From Sellers' affinity for disguises ('You have a nose for noses' Harvey Korman's character tells him) to his mutilation of the English language (such as his hilarious attempt to procure a 'massage' from a perplexed hotel clerk), Trail of the Pink Panther is an uproariously funny and joyously affectionate tribute that will 'induce gales of laughter' (The Hollywood Reporter)!

This Pink Panther Box Set probably gives one of the best value comedy that's available. It's a very funny set with the best character that Peter Sellers has ever played and it's something the whole family can enjoy.

Pink Panther
This collection represents maybe the best roll of Peter Sellers ....The way of acting that he showed in all of this Pink Panther movies will definitly throw you off the chair from laughter.....All parts are amazing and represent one complete master peace....In my opinion much better performance and quality from anything that Steve Martin showed in the last two parts....That just wasnt the same expirience as with Pete Sellers...Must buy for every movie collector :)
