A Cronenbergian smorgasbord of rancid flesh and sexual gratification, Thanatomorphose, by Canadian director Eric Falardeau, picks up where Nekromantic left off. Discovering several bruises on her body after a night of rough sex, a young woman is shocked as, rather than heal it; her body begins rotting from the inside out.
She faces a terrifying and gory descent into a living death, as her putrefying body begins to literally 'fall off the bone'.
A strange and claustrophobic tale of sexuality, horror and bodily fluids, Thanatamorphose will not only make you wince, but is strangely uplifting in its take on mortality. Premiered at Fantasia Film Festival 2013.

make up effects were good but thats about it
This is a strange movie from the off and it keeps getting more extreme as the time goes on. There wasn't much of a script and the acting was ok I guess but the storyline baffles me. The visual make up effects was the highlight of the movie so if you can manage to stick through it too the end you get to see quite a bit of gore. the let down of this movie is the camera work and the long scenes that were way too long esp when there is no music, they needed to make the scenes shorter and keep a better pace on the movie. overall: if there was better camera work and they made it faster without the annoying over extended scenes with better detail I believe this would of made the movie very disturbing to watch but still not a good movie because they didn't have much of a script and a slow lumbering story that didn't make much sense. If you want to see gore and good gore make up then this is the movie for you but don't expect anything else. 5/10
