4There's one word to describe this season: great! New characters and flashbacks take you deeper and deeper and soon you notice you're hooked.

Supernatural - Complete Season 4
5Supernatural is a superb TV series and definitely lacks recognition, especially in the UK as it's only available on a network that you have to pay to get. Funny, intense, dramatic, well acted, scary. Everything you would want in a tv series really. Season 4 continued to be great even if it started going in a different direction.

5Supernatural has had me hooked from the start - with a clever balance of humour, heartbreak and action. Season 4 (a season that proved to be the most successful in terms of viewers numbers) explores how the dynamic between two demon hunting brothers has changed after Dean sold his soul and went to help in order to raise his little brother from the dead. The season watches the unraveling of a once concrete relationship as Dean deals with his time spent in hell, the revelation that God ordered he be saved to help stop the apocalypse, and Sam becomes increasingly dependent on a less than trustworthy demon by the name of Ruby. Will the angels hold out, or will the demons raise Lucifer from hell? Or more importantly, will family trump heaven and hell, angels and demons, or will the power of fate severe a brotherly relationship once and for all? This season is not to be missed, but check out the three previous too, so that you can truly understand the dynamic between the incredibly talented (and not to mention hot) Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, and the building mythological story arc that comes to a head this season!
