great series
5Fantastic, bought this for my husbands birthday and we are just getting in to it, after watching both the wire and the shield we were dubious about this series but is proving to be well worth watching.. Zavvi are awesome as normal, all 3 box sets bought from here, delivery is 2nd to none. Buy this you will not be disappointed!!

The Godfather of TV
5The Sopranos is easily one of the best american TV dramas of the last ten years and arguably set the scene for other shows such as "Deadwood" "Rome" and "The wire". Over the course of 86 episodes we get to follow the life of Anthony Soprano, a New Jersey mob leader. The show is a no-holds barred look into how organised crime works and there are many shocking moments. This is strangely balanced by a very dark sense of humour and the fact that Tony still has to balance his family life too. The beauty of the show for me is how all the characters are rounded and you can't help but like even the most disturbing characters. There is also a sense that no-one is safe, which adds to the reality of a mob show. The show does dip in quality around season 5 but even then it is still better thaqn 90% of other shows and the final season has a satisfying, yet controversial ending. For fans of TV and Film, this box set is a must and is also great value.

Brilliant!
5One of if not thee best TV show of all time. A must see for anyone. Fantasic writing, amazing acting and incredible characters! Great boxset, contains it all in a slick sleave esque box, looks great on any dvd rack!
