Angie Harmon (Law & Order) and Sasha Alexander (NCIS) co-star in this chart-busting, suspenseful series -- which ranked as basic cable's #1 summer drama in 2015 -- as Jane Rizzoli, a tough-as-nails Boston police detective, and Maura Isles, a smart, impeccably dressed medical examiner from a privileged background. Despite being complete opposites, the two women have long shared an offbeat chemistry, an authentic friendship and a unique working relationship. It's a killer combination that helps them put even the most dangerous criminals behind bars. Based on a book series by internationally best-selling crime writer Tess Gerritsen, RIZZOLI & ISLES also stars Bruce McGill as the seasoned and lovable Detective Vince Korsak, Jane's old-school Homicide teammate; Jordan Bridges as Detective Frankie Rizzoli Jr., Jane's younger brother; Idara Victor as crime scene analyst Nina Holiday; Adam Sinclair as Kent Drake, the quirky assistant medical examiner in Maura's office; and Lorraine Bracco as Jane and Frankie's sometimes nosy but always well-meaning mother, Angela Rizzoli.
The seventh and final season of RIZZOLI & ISLES, which is as thrilling and dangerous as the show has ever been, opens in the aftermath of a shooting that took place in the prior season's finale episode. The team must use every tool at their disposal to find the elusive Alice Sands they've been hunting for, and bring her to justice before she succeeds in destroying Jane's life. Also this season, along with some of the most challenging mysteries to date, friends and family members return, wills are tested, love blossoms and all look ahead to the future....

Great TV show
Good TV show, good price only downside is the packaging of the dvds (not zavvi fault) only holds 24 disc and its a 25 disc box set and the discs are quite stiff to get out too.
