Top quality stuff from a great cast and the odd great guest star too!
Pie in the Sky - The Complete Collection is a brilliant Series, with of course Richard Griffiths being the main star here, but the rest of the cast are very credible characters and makes this series a joy to watch. Richard has left us a fantastic legacy here in what has to be one of the most authentic and well-liked police crime/drama/comedy series ever made.

Pie in the Sky- Complete Collection
I had never heard of Pie in the Sky but it was "suggested" to me after my purchase of Rosemary & Thyme. Richard Griffiths is outstanding as a want-to-be former Inspector whose boss (ably played by Malcom Sinclair) refuses to let him retire and run his restaurant Pie In The Sky. This is a police drama with many comic elements, particularly when he has to leave mid-meal to work a case. The one negative is the shortage of special features.

Pie in the Sky
Pie in the Sky - The Complete Collection is good, old fashioned entertainment. It's worth every penny.

Pie in the Sky
It is a great series. I am only half way through it and I don't want it to end. It is a good blend of humour and serious incidents. The acting is superb with Richard Griffiths and Maggie Steed becoming very endearing characters.
