Created by Fritz Freleng for the title sequence of the 1964 Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers comedy classic, the Pink Panther appeared in many theatrical cartoons, won an Academy Award (Short Subject, Cartoon) for The Pink Phink (1964), and starred in five television series. The New Pink Panther Show provides him with a speaking voice (Matt Frewer) for the first time.
Well-written and artistically animated, The New Pink Panther Show also includes vintage The Ant and the Aardvark cartoons plus new characters voiced by such comic favorites as Ruth Buzzi, John Byner, Dan Castellaneta, Joe Piscopo, Charles Nelson Reilly, Wallace Shawn, and Jo Anne Worley.
