Unable to stop him from tracking the signal to its source, Sean's new stepfather, Hank (Dwayne Johnson), joins the quest that will take them first to the South Pacific, and then to a place few people have ever seen. Saw the film at cinema and really enjoyed it, the kids have been nagging me to get it on DVD. Enjoyed just as much 2nd time around, funny, entertaining great family adventure.

Worth a watch
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island really surprised me and I really enjoyed it. The plot though mildly predictable, was entertaining and keeps the viewer interested. "The Rock" and Luis Guzmán, though unlikely, made a winning comedy team, and there are quite a few genuine laughs in the movie. It was interesting to see Michael Caine in such a role but all of the central characters really bounced off each other making this a very watchable and enjoyable fantasy/action film.
